Please can everyone show some restraint when commenting on entries in GBs only commenting on a few entries in each GB at a time.

When someone runs through a GB commenting on every build thread in turn it floods the front page (when using the 'View New Posts' link).
An F-104 Starfighter STGB

Guys, do you think there could be interest for an STGB dedicated to the F-104 Starfighter ?
Me thinks it's a subjct that would deserve an STGB: it was the first ever Mach 2 aircraft, was produced in the thousandths, was in service for many years in a good number of countries and wore many interesting colour schemes and markings, from the colourful USAF markings on the natural metal aircrafts to the modern air superiority greys, not to forget the sometime wild special colours applied in many coutries.
And very important for us modellers, there are several kits easily available in every scale from 1/144 to 1/32, so no need to search long OOP kits on E-bay or at swap meets.

Hi everyone!

I know I'm quite new to this forum, but I thought I might add an idea for a group build.

How about a group build of Airfix's 2012 releases? If that is too broad, how about aircraft only? I'm sure you guys have seen how nice the new Airfix models are, and I think it might be cool if we all try to get through them together.

Seeing as some aren't due for release for a while, I imagine the finish would be sometime near the end of the year, perhaps in time for Christmas. Although it's quiet a while, it does mean that the kits aren't rushed and we can get a nice wide selection.

Just throwing the idea out there.

Sparky

P.S.
