  1. Coming along great...big boats rule OK Love the yellow topped turrets..adds colour and interest..I choose that too fory Bismarck build...
  2. I know I know I know I haven't finished doing the lashings on the small boats but this was far more exciting to do 15cm guns and turrets ... The scheme is yellow upper surfaces but I toned it down to a more green/yellow purely for artistic looks..
  3. Making some progress. I made the small boat flotilla. I am in the process attaching them and then doing the lashings.. If you look close the two most inner boats by the mast are lashed the others are all just placed in
  4. The planes do look just green in the pictures but they are the two correct greens for year and model...there is not as much contrast as you would expect..😁
  5. Sorry for the long break, I have been making steady progress. It got to a point where it was too unwieldy to work on direct on my bench. I have put the shelve up for her final resting place and just lift her down to the dinning room table to fit the sub assemblies as i make them. I am on step 967 in the book! next the aircraft
  6. Great to see this topic..I flew at 621 locking 1977-80 when the MK3s were a mix of the old silver makings and the later red and white...
  7. Amazing..I remember one bring lent to 621 vgs Weston super mare..RAF locking ..
  8. I seems to spend hours and hours on it and when you photograph it.. hardly looks like any work LOL The cranes are just placed in position
  9. Fab display...the subs surface painting is great well done 👍
  10. More progress, I am up to the stage of dry fitting the aircraft catapult.
