Update for today

 Hi Guys

Just a small update on the Miles M.52 kit in 1/72, 1/48 and 1/32 scales. Not long to wait until the launch and price details are made, hopefully tomorrow the 24/02/25, I just need to confirm a few price details to enable me to finalize the pricing.

In the meantime here is some artwork that Luca Landino has graciously done for me via commission, I am sure you will agree it is stunning and very atmospheric. Also shown is the typical decal layout, with four possible airframe numbers. There is an alternative scheme that will be shown on the final release. However there could be a few options possible to those with imagination and flair.

Yes, it's a nice illustration, but it's technically inaccurate with regard to the markings shown.

The fin marking is back to front. Red should lead.

The 36 in. diameter 'P in a circle' should be adjacent to the fuselage roundel that should be a 36 in. National marking III, not the National marking II shown.

With regard to the decal sheet, as far as I know, the 'P in a circle' was always Yellow. Where does the black one come from?

There should be two sizes of serial number. 8 in. high for the rear fuselage and larger ones for the under surfaces of the main planes. Possibly 24 in. high if there's room to accommodate them inboard of the 32 in. National marking IIs under the wing located at one third span measured from the aircraft centreline. If not, a smaller size might be necessary.

The National marking IA on the upper surface of the main planes should also be centered at one third span measured from the centerline and would probably have been bigger than either the under wing or fuselage roundels because this was the usual practice.

Well the art work is now corrected for the poster, the box labels are still incorrect, but that will make the first batch collectable boxes in the future😄

The Black Prototype P is for doing the aircraft overall yellow, that could have been an option, artwork can be seen above.

As for how and where all markings go and how they are applied are up for anyone to surmise and or guess, it is a what if subject, I have supplied some markings that should suffice for many modelers, should others wish to add or change completely to their preferred markings then that is up to them.

Hot pink with go faster stripes it is then!

Is it possible to order one of these from the USA? Saw one on eBay but it said it didn't ship to America.

Unfortunately I do not have a seller in the U.K. BUT you can buy directly from me, I mail to USA and I sell the kit at a cheaper price than this guy is selling the one kit on ebay. Click on my link and have a look.

hopefully this helps and I see your order, message me if you need further help

I have just received the updated u/c legs you emailed about. Very impressed, not only about the quality of the printing, but about the customer service and speed. Thanks very much.

Yes indeed, I must concur, but, if like me you've already finished and fitted the originals it's a right faff to get them off and you're going to need tyres too. I managed to get the legs off and drill new holes but thats it. Nice to see new pitot tubes too.

Thank you! I'll be placing an order soon. Such a fascinating aircraft! So sad it was cancelled.
