  1. Past hour
  2. As always, fantastic photographic realism and excellent execution of the model. Compliments
  3. Looks great! Don’t be too hard on the wheel bays, there isn’t a lot going on in there. All that is missing is a few hydraulic lines. The structure itself appears correct.
  4. The array of Sqn colours is just fantastic. You do have an issue though… mind you an obsession with the Lightning is an understandable one… I think I have the same problem! 🙂
  5. That is really nice! Great finish and weathering ..... it looks really well used and abused! Keith 😁
  6. Detail on this Lightning is unbelievable. Truly exceptional job. The early 1960s and 1970s colours on these jets are a personal favourite. Can’t beat a Firebird 🙂
  7. Love the historical detail. I think it adds so much when the subject model is aligned to an individual, squadron or operational activity. Great stuff.
  8. Thanks for all the positive feedback. I eliminated the prop blades on the Tempest (and the little generator blades on the front of the V1) as to have them on just made the aircraft look like it was hanging there. I think without you get the impression of movement when combined with the blurred base.

  10. Thanks for your kind words! @Pete in Lincs these pine trees are very common for a lot of parts of germany Cheers Macki
  11. Just a great historical background that was very interesting. The finished 111 is done very well and congrats to you. Thanks for sharing the finished kit and the information.
  12. With the current trend towards heavy panel lines and equally heavy weathering, a nice, clean build is a breath of fresh air. Your Ventura fits this to a T. Beautifully built and finished. Thanks for sharing.
  13. Now that is a very pretty and clean Beaufighter you have made. Nicely done. Thanks for sharing.
  14. Just a very nicely done Emil you have presented. Looks good. Thanks for sharing.
  15. I finally got my Royal kit in the mail, just in time to see your great build of one of the examples. Your work is awesome. And, many thanks in advance for the advice on some of the kit issues. Those pitfalls are nice to be pointed out. Your photography and diorama are done just as well as the kit. Just a really nice package to look at. Thanks for sharing the build and the advice.
  16. Nicely done. Larger images posted directly here would have been nice, too. Chris
  17. I just got this kit and was wondering which of the options to do. I think your magnificent build and finish have convinced me in what direction to go to. Beautifully finished kit. Thanks for sharing and giving directional inspiration.
  18. With the pilot's head tilted towards the V-1. this diorama really tells a story. Great looking Tempest and the V-1 is also done well. Thanks for sharing this unique display.
  19. Superb job on the B-24. The finish and weathering are done just so well. Thanks for sharing.
  20. Great work. Your 1/72 Sea Vampire is looking better than my 1/32 Vampire build as the moment!
  21. Great work. Very inspirational - especially the use of figures from 3 airfix sets!
  22. That's a very great, clever display Regards Dave
