  1. THak you very much for your comments. Merci Jean😉 Alain
  2. HI, Thanks a lot for your comments. It comes from this sheet : https://www.nazca-decals.com/html/b787.htm Alain
  3. Last of 2023, I replaced the cowling and the engine proposed by Callsign Glou which is much better, all the facings the racing numbers and the wing codes are painted using stencils. The original decals are quite average, but Albert from Dekno sent me other free ones that were much better printed and finer, thanks to him. Rigging is fishing line, I didn't want to try to make them flat, I was afraid they wouldn't be tight enough. Alain
  4. Penultimate completed in 2023, but started during confinement, assembly is without issue, it was a little more complicated in terms of livery, I stripped it twice and used 3 decal sheets. The decoration comes from Nazca with another detail sheet from the same brand, it was the first time I used this brand: the film is very thin and almost invisible once dry, however they slide quite badly and when you want to move them they tend to deform but are extremely solid. They are also relatively transparent and the ink is sensitive to the F spirit , it is essential to varnish before appliying filters, it is a little confusing but when you have integrated everything the result is very satisfactory. Last negative point, the very vague and superficial instructions, which is a shame because the research work seems to have been very well done. American Airline gray is a layer of “Pearl tint” ZP 1214 from Zero paint on a base of MRP Boeing gray 363. The antennas, pitots and other probes are 3D printed parts from Rocast, it's very pretty and adds a real plus to the model. Alain
  5. Hello and best wishes to everyone, finished a few months ago, relaxed assembly OOB, I just redid the wings root air intakes oval. No particular problem except the fuselage wing connection which requires a lot of work. I followed the instructions for the interior color, not sure if it's right, but it changes! The blue is “French blue” ZP 1095 from Zero paint. Alain
  6. hi, thank you very much for your kind comments. Alain
  7. Hi All, Completed some weeks ago, the Special Hobby AH1G is a very nice model with full of details, especially in the Hitech boxing, fuselage is covered with raised rivet, a god idea for a helicopter but unfortunately much too big for me, so the major challenge was to replace those rivets by Quinta decals. No real problems during building, fit is excellent the only issues are to glue the canopy opening parts and the badly engineering rotor fixture, only a fragile little pin. I used MRP paints, perfect as usual. I hope you'll enjoy. Alain
  8. Hi, thank you very much for your comments. Alain
  9. Good evening, The first of the year! (Started last April anyway) Model: Revell Cockpit: Wolfpack/Eduard/BAM Air inlets: BAM Nozzles and wheels: ResKit Micas: Eduard Damocles: L’arsenal Ladder: LP Models Paints: MRP, the gray is a random mix of 096 Nato gray and 173 Tyre rubber Decals: Syhart No big problems with assembly, I had the bad surprise of having traces of paint inside the canopy that I couldn't really catch up on seeing the internal structure. Another gag, the Micas Eduard, when opening the box some were a little twisted, but given the number I had had enough, sometime later, I look again: I had a cluster of bananas! by the time I get to the arming stage: resurprise, most of them were straight again, it's sometimes useful to be slow. I don't know if they will, but so far so good. On to the pictures: Comments welcome. Alain
  10. very nice result This grey livery suits it very well.
  11. thanks a lot for all your kind comment. I'm must recognize that it was the longest thing to buit. Alain
