  1. I'm in and will vote for this one, got one of the Arma/Eduard kits in the stash begging to be build. I've never built a Hurricane before 😬
  2. Enterprise was far enough along to display sprues Hopefully Nelson makes it to market and sells well. Perhaps it will remind Dragon that there is a market for ships, and these might yet see the light of day
  3. Depends if they actually sell it. Dragon previously announced a1/700 CVN-65 Enterprise and a 1/350 BB-38 Pennsylvania kit, both due in 2012. We're still waiting.
  4. Bradley sporting some type of electronic warfare system (C-UAS?).
  5. Okay, time for a well deserved update. Grumpy has been quietly worked on since the start, though not a ton to show for just yet. Until now I've been building this alongside my Special Hobby A-20, which is going to be put aside due to fitment issues. Hopefully this will result in more updates for this build. Initial stages were dry fitting the cockpit parts. Fitment is great, and the detail is top notch. Instrument panel was painted flat black before a 3 piece decal was put on. Decals went down great, as good as a Tamiya decal (the opposite of Hasegawa imo). Cockpit was primed and painted silver before getting the interior green. Once sealed, some weathering was applied to make it pop a bit more Cockpit almost finished, and dry fitted to make sure painting didn't change anything. Bomb bay painted silver, with weathering ongoing. Getting closer to joining the fuselage.
  6. Initially 4 Leopard 2A4s from Canada, but then an additional 4 were announced and donated after the 1st anniversary of the war. All 8 were delivered by mid April '23. I've never done netting myself, but a quick search on youtube has a few good guides for making it yourself. Additionally, there is aftermarket stuff you can use. Here's one thread featured on this forum
  7. Depends how much russian propaganda you soak up. After 705 days of war, there's a lot of that out there. Leopard 2A6s were used during the initial summer offensive, which suffered large losses. Of the 21 donated 2A6s, 12 were confirmed casualties (4 were destroyed, 5 damaged and abandoned, 3 damaged and recovered for repair). 2 damaged 2A6s were repaired in Lithuania and were returned last month. Lithuania has faced delays in repairs due to difficulty in attaining replacement parts. Leopard 2A4s are far more numerous, 40ish supplied initially from Canada, Finland, Norway, Poland, and Spain. Since then, an additional 14 were announced from the Netherlands and Denmark. They have 7 confirmed destroyed, 3 damaged and abandoned, as well as 5 damaged but not abandoned. 2 2A4s have been noted as being repaired in Poland. The 10 Strv122's from Sweden suffered the worst, 1 destroyed and 5 damaged and/or abandoned. Of the Leopard 1A5s, 1 has been damaged of an estimated 30 delivered as of November. They're expected to received over 170 1A5s. While these tanks are by no means a game changing weapon system for Ukraine (especially being supplied in such numbers), what is important is the crew survivability of these tanks, something much better than the previous equipment they've been operating. There's a video from October of a Strv122 taking a direct ATGM, the blowout panels working properly, and then the crew gets out and survives. While these tanks are getting damaged and destroyed (as everything does in war), their crews are surviving.
  8. After the long wait for the Trumpeter kit, this will be quite welcome for RN fans. I'd guess at 1/350. Their Scharnhorst did quite well at that scale, and im not sure they're planning to join the 1/200 club yet.
  9. Correct. I haven't built the Tamiya kit, so if it doesn't have ERA, you'd probably want to pick up something aftermarket. This interview gives you a good shot of the rear, as well as some quick looks around the side as well at around the 2min mark
  10. As Old Pro said, I believe most if not all of the 186 supplied M2s are the A2 ODS version, with the first deployed units not operating with ERA applied. Don't worry too much about Ukrainian markings on the Bradley's. Most of the Bradley's that have been given to Ukraine usually have camo patterns applied just before moving to the front lines, meaning each tends to be unique. Early documenting showed no 2 alike specific patterns, but a general digital camo pattern. Early losses also showed no mounted ERA. Recent videos from the past 2 weeks (posted by @OSINTtechnical on twitter) have showed the Bradley's in full ERA as supplied by the US. A video of one destroying a disabled BMP shows a green hull with minor camo pattern and a tan turret. Last week, 2 Bradley's disabled a T-90M, one of them sporting Ukraine's digital camo pattern, but with some of the US ERA being tan. The other appears to have tan colored hull and turret, but with all green ERA. I've also seen a picture of one with soviet ERA bricks applied, need to find it again.
  11. Bummer about the decals, but you've been making excellent work of the Italeri kit. I've attempted to build the B-25B kit of theirs several times, each one stopping due to major issues. Glad to see it hasn't stopped you 👍 Hopefully the decals will turn up soon, I recently lost some myself and spent days looking for them. Turns out I was blind and had passed over them 4 times before I eventually realized what I was looking at 😶
  12. I dont think it was announced. I'd assume it was 44-51228, as its relatively local, and I believe they have a good relationship with Duxford
  13. Sorry to hear about the loss of your brother Bob. I hope this build helps you however it can during this time. You're certainly off to a good start by the looks of it.
  14. Sorry about that, it looks like my post processing images were not saved resized as they should have been. I use a PC for the forum, so they all show up on the page at the same size. I'll try to make sure they're smaller going forward
  15. As this build gets closer to being finished, its time to smile 😁
