  1. I was wide awake at 3am this morning so I got to set off at stupid o’clock and was in cherry pink car park not long after 7am! trusty double sausage and egg McMuffin and a few dodgy drug deals in the car park (kit collections, honest!) and then a few more as other BM’s got in and handed over their stash for spondoolies. Trip back to car and then start wandering around. All before 10am lol. i tend to see what the traders have in terms of kits and see if they have anything on my wish list. So several loops around all three halls and another 5 kits in the boot! tomorrow is dedicated to the displays and presentations before getting things like cement or panel line oils etc which shouldn’t go out of stock at the show According to my step-o-meter deluxe I’ve done 16,439 steps;5.6 miles
  2. I just filled the windows with pvc glue; they didn’t come out toooo bad. (Airfix version) well done with the build so far
  3. I wasn't too impressed with the first few episodes but stuck with and I did enjoy to the end. Lets see if they do a season two, who knows; wholly depends on ratings and not critical acclaim. Seen the adverts for Badlands. Will have to see what the reviews are like. Anyhooz, back on topic.
  4. I noticed that on my Aifirx (same kit) build. I used PVA to fill in the windows, so if you squinted really tightly you might just see inside. Unless you are lighting the insides you wont see the carpet lol or furniture if you went that route!
  5. We went to Florida at the end of September so I was going through the TV listings while we were away setting up things I would be interested in, and I came across this series. I am enjoying it also. Strangely while we were over in Trump-del-a-loco land it was showing on there too. I didn't watch it though, waited until we got home. Still waiting for one of them to say "I feel the need, the need for speed!", though one of them does push it; half expecting him to buzz the tower
  6. according to their status page
  7. Just changed image hosts (thank you imagur!), so hopefully people can see the old photos. Not much progress recently as I've been on holiday for a few weeks giving Mickey Mouse all our money and then busy at work. Will post more photos when I get chance
  8. Thanks. that looks far better but also is twice the price. Guess I'll just have to put my Yorkshireness to one side and pay for somewhere decent lol! and booked! Thanks @3DStewart
  9. 'scuse my ignorance but that shot of the decal layout doesn't seem to indicate they provide the stripes as decals ?
  10. Certainly understand that! At least I can sneak the hotel and a good couple of meals out of things without the wife seeing something "physical" to moan about I didn't spend huge amounts on models last year, it was more bits n pieces - brushes ... scrap that I just looked: £576.45 including 12 Star Wars and Star Trek kits. Jeez!
  11. Mad aint it! I dont mind a drive, think it was 45 mins from the 'spoons (George hotel Bewdley) last year. Its 2.5h from home so didnt want to do that for both days - did that when I was a consultant back in the day, too old now! I just know I'm going to end up there again lol.
  12. Last minute decision to renew subscription and attend. Downside is the hotels are soooo expensive. Stayed at a 'spoons hotel last year. t'was a dump but was cheap. This year its still £50 BUT ITS STILL A DUMP. Really dont want to stay there again but I also dont want to pay £150 for a travelbodge. Still hunting....
  13. Must say @SteveR's support is exemplary!
