Westland Wessex HU.5 (see the Helicopter II GB for that model!)

1/48th Classic Airframe Sea Hawk FB3

897 NAS 1956

given that this is a Classic Airframes kit it is pretty good indeed as far as fit goes, only the tail section caused any really issues. generally it was very enjoyable to put together.

Getting enough weight in the nose to stop it being a tail sitter was an isssue and I'm not convinced the wheels will last too long.

I remember using a set of Modeldecals for the same Squadron on a highly modified Airfix kit in the ninth decade of the last century so this has brought back some good memories.

Corsair II JT427 of the 47th NFW, HMS Victorious 1944 Pilot Major Ronnie Hay RM.

Tamiya 1/48th kit, Aeromaster decals, and the only added items were the seat belts and small fuselage scoops. Nylon nail brush bristle for the whip aerial as the masts were removed and swapped for these by the FAA.

Hi All

Some superb builds on here, here's my effort the Airfix 1/72nd DH89A Dominie. I think I have made a mistake in this build as I left in the last window on each side of the fuselage, the decal instruction shows it missing. Oh well I am calling it finished.

Hope you like, it was a lovely Kit to build.
