cngaero
That's some serious modelling Adrian. The hand crafted cockpit interior is utterly amazing. This is going to be good.
Beard
The cockpit is rather splendid (that's not to suggest the rest isn't).

Can't help grinning in pleasure at the quality of your work in that set of photos. The rest of your work has been utterly vacuous in the nicest possible way - superb transparencies! 4
bigbadbadge
Wow that cockpit detailing is stunning absolutely stunning. Great work. I am fascinated by the vacform work. I would love to be able to do this. One day maybe. All the best Chris
Martian
As the others have said, that's amazing interior detail. I still maintain that you are mad though! Martian 👽
Muddyf
Absolutely stunning work so far. Fantastic to see such attention on an important, yet from a mainstream model manufacturer perspective, largely overlooked aircraft. I have a personal attachment to Beauforts as my Grandmother installed control wires in Beauforts (and later on Beaufighters) at Filton. She is approaching 99 and delights my 8 year old son with her stories of her and my Grandfathers work for Bristol.
Rabbit Leader
OMG - what’s going on here? I’ve completely missed this most excellent and mind boggling conversion. This is just incredible and I’ll have to read this thread from go to wo a little later. Now I vouch that should a certain mainstream model manufacturer announce a new tool Beaufort, then all and sundry on here really need to chip in and purchase at least one copy for you. For the Beaufort to have not be treated well in kit form is really unacceptable in this day and age. Let’s not see another Do335 announced - hang about, I don’t think it’s been kitted in 1/24 or 1/18th yet!! Cheers.. Dave 1

AdrianMF
Well I had a small setback: That paint was starting to go a bit gloopy and I guess I didn't get the lid back on properly the last time I used it. my mistake. Thanks for the support. It's a bit frustrating having my modelling time parcelled into one or two days per month! And I'm sorry if the pictures are turning out a bit strange or mis-sized - postimage.org has changed and I don't think I've understood what I need to do differently to get the pictures in right. 15 hours ago, bigbadbadge said: I am fascinated by the vacform work. I would love to be able to do this. You just need to pitch in. As you can see from my setup there's very little cost or specialised equipment needed, Just a small risk of being asked to hoover the stairs while the vac is out! 15 hours ago, Martian Hale said: I still maintain that you are mad though! Fair cop. Takes one to know one... 15 hours ago, Muddyf said: I have a personal attachment to Beauforts I'm glad she is still able to tell her stories. Sounds like a treat for your lad. 14 hours ago, Rabbit Leader said: announce a new tool Beaufort, I've got a feeling I may never want to see another Beaufort in my life after this! However, I do have a good record of influencing the kit industry, having personally "caused" the new kits of the Swordfish, He 111 and IL-2 to appear by the simple expedient of spending a lot of effort on the old and clunky versions. At least, that's my story... Regards, Adrian 2

224 Peter
I am really looking forward to seeing this masterpiece finished. Many years ago, when I had no idea just how incorrect it was, I built it. A suggestion: assemble the other kit straight from the box. Display them side by side. The comparison should be VERY interesting indeed! 1

JOCKNEY
Just found this build (apologies for the unseeingly lateness on my part) utterly brilliant. I have the Tasman upgrade kit (Decals missing) and the FROG kit. Having followed this thread I might just find the Special Hobby version. Although it will never be a good as this bespoke build, at least I have a fighting chance of finishing it. Outstanding work as ever Adrian, I can't wait for the next instalment cheers Pat
Terry1954
Not dipped into this one for quite a while. Incredible modelling going on here Adrian. The basic airframe conversion itself is an impressive piece of work, but all that scratch detail is the biz! Really enjoying watching you turn a basic model and varied other materials into what is becoming a modelling masterpiece. Cheers Terry
DaveyGair
Some superb 'proper modelling' going on here, I'm using your WIP as a reference when I attempt my High Planes Beaufort's 😁 Davey.
AdrianMF
Well I had gotten to the point where I needed some vac forming, for a wider navigator’s canopy, a second shot at the turret and the new nacelle shape. Then holidays, life, work and family intervened. And then, to top it all, there’s a Golden Age of Airfix GB running! I mean, what’s a fellow meant to do in those circumstances?? it turns out I needed a vacform canopy for my Mig-21 so I thought I would blow the dust off my masters for this one. The turret persisted in webbing but I managed to get a good one (on the right): I did the nacelles in halves. They look a bit rough but I’m sure they will sand up nicely: I will I’ll come back to this after I wrap up my Airfix GB build. Thanks for looking, Adrian
JimHead23
Hi Adrian I'm so glad you have got to this and not consigned the kit to the 'shelf of doom'! I am really looking forward to seeing it finished. Regards Jim
