vppelt68
'Nuff said in the title, I suppose . Oh, just to make it clear, not the mighty cars, but the even mightier multi-role combat aircraft built by "Société Européenne de Production de l'avion Ecole de Combat et d'Appui Tactique" or SEPECAT, for short. I prefer the latter! Nope, not that, but all things Jaguar: Military aircraft, cars, tank destroyers... whatever was called a Jaguar V-P vppelt68 (host, of course) theplasticsurgeon Marklo Wings unlevel TEMPESTMK5 John Masters Wez Jabba JOCKNEY Redstaff Sam Colin W gingerbob reini trickyrich stevehnz CliffB RMP2 ...

Wez
Aah! The Septic Cat! As one of my former colleagues who'd been on 54 Sqn at Colt used to say, "Constant thrust, variable noise", he was a Sooty so he knew about "Enjinz". He described the Jag as yet another aircraft which required the curvature of the Earth to get off the ground. Which is a long winded way of saying count me in! As a Nasty, I'd applied to work on these during trade training as we got taught the Jag NAVWASS during my time at Cosford. Later, I really felt I'd dodged a bullet by not getting posted onto Jags. Naturally, I'd want to do an AdlA jet.
Jabba
Found a couple of Jags in the stash whilst looking for something else, so yes happy to be counted in.

JOCKNEY
The cars name is "Bob" as the original owner was from Zimbabwe and so we named him Bob after Robert Mugabe. We rescued him from a shed and put him back on the road over the next 3 years.
JOCKNEY
To return to the original subject I have one of these It's the Naro-Fominsk Plastic Plant NFZ version of the Frog kit. I've never been brave enough to open it as I'm nervous the kit will look like the picture on the outside ! Cheers Pat 2

Colin W
I'd be up for a Jaguar. Either an Airfix T2 or a Revell E-Type. Or both.... Shame we dont have a kit of this yet!
gingerbob
No, I don't! But where were you carheads when I proposed a Jaguar (auto) Group Build a few years back? bob- not named after a Jaguar
vppelt68
The whole GB proposal is now completely reworked and edited, as can be read in the edited title and opening post. I welcome newcomers, especially carheads, and I hope the current dirty dozen + 1 will stick regardless of the alterations . V-P 2

trickyrich
By some very strange coincidence I just happened to purchase a Kitty Hawk GR.1/GR.3 Jaguar at my club meet today for a very reasonable price. ....and yes I don't know what possessed me to by such rubbish (a Kitty Hawk model) and I will no doubt burn in hell for all the un-natural comments I'll make while building it. But I figure if I build it, there'll be one less Kitty Hawk model in the world.....that alone should cover all my past sins!!! So sign me up.....on a one way trip to.......
