Ray S
Hello all' I have had great fun building this over the last few weeks. This was an old bagged kit, but the transfers still worked, although I did use Microscale ones for the roundels, and painted the rudder. I had to leave the rudder serials though. Rigging was EZ-Line and rolled speaker wire. I used an etch set by HP-Model for interior details, but mainly scratchbuilt an interior. I built it for the Airfix Tribute Forum WW1 Group Build, and my reading of the rules says I can show it here, so I hope I am right. I will jus put a few pics, but with luck I may be able to post a link with my new Google Chrome browser, which I could raely do with MS Explorer. And with luck, the link http://airfixtributeforum.myfastforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=508&t=43604 I did not correct the fuselage issues, but did turn the wheels round so the conical section was innermost, as per Ray Rimell's advice in magazines. All the best, and thanks for looking, Regards, Ray

Bangor Lad
Beauty of a build. You forget how small these aircraft were which makes the challenge of building them so rewarding. Great stuff! Cheers

Nomore Shelfspace
That is quite awesome, the interior particularly - I had one of these centuries ago and I know how tiny the fuselage is! Wow is all I can say.

Ray S
Just lovely. I could definitely stand to see some more pics of this...... Dave N, just for you (and anyone else interested of course...) a few more pics I added a few extra details apart from the HR-Model etch set. I tried to represent the fuel pipes (I think) that come down from the upper wing - those were my finest plastic rod painted copper, a mount for the wind powered generator on the starboard forward cabane strut, and the windscreens, although they may be a bit big. I think they show in the photographs. I think that should be all, I hope I have not overdone the pics. All the best everyone, and thanks for being so kind with your comments.
