Six pieces ICM Opel Admiral 1/24 arrived today. 😁

I don't know what and when I will do with these, but I have always liked this car model. Eight of these have already been made, but I think you can't have too many of this 85-year-old car model. Weird or what?

Gary .

That's a great little kit, you'll have a load of fun building it :)

I did one the end of last year :)

Thanks @Redstaff. Not really been a Mini fan but reading Stuart Turners

autobiography  ( former BMC team boss ) and seeing some immaculate examples at classic shows this summer have finally twisted my arm !!

As @Redstaff said a great kit.  Tamiya did several versions  of the Cooper S which were all fun to built and nice in  the end.  Would be fine they would reissue it. Best would be one box including all the parts they produced for the different versions, remember? The Monte Carlo, the racing version, Morris and Austin ...

Looks familiar... :)

It could well be mate :)

Got it from a shady guy in a clandestine meeting at some services off the A38 🤣 🤣

Great little kits that go together so well for the age of the tooling

Cheers

Ian :)

An eBay bundle of JDM joy arrived today.  Hase R32 Nismo, 117 Coupe and a Tam 300ZX.  All as new and worked out at fifteen quid each so nothing to grumble about.  The Nismo has to be dark gunmetal but i think I'll try to find more inspiring colour choices than the silver box art for the other two!

Ever since Tomasz reminded me with his gorgeous Gurney Eagle-Westlake model just how good-loooking Eagle cars were during the marque's short life I've been hankering after building one but finding one proved pretty elusive.  I eventually won an Ebay auction to land this one...

It wasn't cheap but it was still factory-sealed and despite the slightly crumpled box it's in perfect condition - amazing for its age.    I noted with interest that @Rootbeerdude built one a while ago and made a beautiful job of it despite being not exactly complimentary about the quality of the kit, but it'll be a fun build (I hope) and I'll give it my best shot!  Meantime it'll add to my meagre stashette.

Landed today, having seen two pick-up truck conversions on various sites, but this will be a commercial version.

Enjoy it @PatW , whatever you do with it it really is a top quality kit.

...and another one for the stash has just arrived...

this one brings back memories of my youngest brother turning up in one identical to this, staying overnight and leaving early the following morning having woken the neighbours just by starting  - not even revving - the enormous 454cu. in. V8 lurking under the hood (it was the TransAm version).  I shan't forget that glorious low rumble echoing around the Close.

Six seater taxi?

Of course, plenty of room on the roof!
