Looked at it in a little more detail this morning, the drawings were made in 1954. I'm currently reading the booklet itself, there's about 8 pages of text. The language used is very typical of that era as well! A really nice find. I'll be digitizing the plans very soon to keep them safe.

I've nearly finished an original Tamiya boxing I've had in the stash for years - I had terrible trouble trying to get the clear parts to fit ending up destroying the windscreen and having to scratch build a new one - so it might be worth test fitting yours before commiting to paint as I think there might have been a slight warp in the body that I could do nothing about after paint. Hopefully it was a one off... (I've still got 3 to build!!)

 

Otherwise it's a lovely kit to build!

Domino model may be a rebox given the Limited Edition sticker ?  Domino model is Belgian and sell DModelkits among lots of others, Dmodelkits is in Portugal; guess someone knows!

BTW Dmodelkits will sell direct.  They have a wide variety catalogue of car-modelling stuff a bit like Spotmodel, possibly a bit less extensive.

 I’ve had excellent service from DModels; if the timings right with some of their offers there are discounts and free shipping (yes to UK from Portugal) at the same time.  This can make things such as Salvinos NASCAR kits viable.  I may be tempted by this escort, the sierra they did doesn’t really float my boat.

99.9% certain it's a reboxed Tamiya. Domino have done this a few times before IIRC, once as a 'white box' with no decals and other times with different schemes like this one.

It's definitely a Tamiya rebox. The instructions are slightly zoomed photocopies of the tamiya instructions.

I bought it direct from them (it's really a small shop about 10 miles from ypres). It was €60 delivered. 

A bit high, but easier to get a hold of than some of the tamiya ones on ebay.

I sold a Tamiya one with a Rennaissance WRC transkit on there for just a little more than the Domino price a couple of weeks back.... (funds to go toward a DModels Escort kit when released  )

Last week's "catch". three more Opels to the collection. Revell's package contains the Admiral made by ICM with 100 times better decals and instructions. That package, which includes paints, glue and a brush, is a very rare find nowadays. I found it at the Firestorm Games online store in Cardiff.

The Blitz has the same engine as the Admiral. I've never built a lorry before, so that Blitz will be the first one.

This is not a cheap kit but this had a starting price of 1/3 less than any other I’d seen and I was the only bidder. 

It’s a pretty insane, full multi media, spoke your own wheels kind of kit.
