From the bay earlier this evening perhaps?

No, this one was Amazon's Black Friday sale and took about two weeks to get here.

Yeah right...  😁

Absolutely - my credit card company told me that my reward points were about to expire and I had to get them spent before January. What else was I meant to do with them? :coolio:

Early Christmas present... I want to do a street version of this. I already have different wheels, just need an interior as there's only 1 seat and it's the race seat. Unfortunately I don't have a large spare box for cars, so maybe I'll scratch the front and rear seats.

Go on, let the moths out of it....!! 🤣

Seriously, if nothing else I think that the photos of the parts will give you really good references for scratchbuilding an interior, as USCP have done the staring at pics of real cars for you!! :)

Hey @JeroenS, that's a nice purchase and a good kit.  Nice idea to convert it to a street version.  I would like to have a transkitranskit to convert into a station car

With everything this beautiful kit is, it’s missing brake calipers, ide hate to be driving down the mulsanne straight at 200+ with no way to stop

Just went into town to pick up some supplies (we have a good little shop in town), and before I knew it this was in the bag as well.

I think this will be my entry for this year's BlitzenBuild, should be fun.

Noticing that it's Level 5, I think you're going to have a very busy day. I presume you have a way of locking all family members out of your modelling room? 😉

A Christmas present to myself.

I got one a few months back . It's a rather simplistic kit , having the same amount of detail as a normal 1/25 kit , just 3 times bigger . With a few details added though , it should look pretty impressive when built .

Yes I had done my research so the lack of details did not come as a surprise. As you say adding the missing details you want shouldn't be too difficult at this scale.

I was mostly worried about the bonnet. I have seen other people get a pretty badly warped one but mine was not that bad.

A friend had real one. Dark blue with blue pin-striping. It was 'blue printed' and it went like stink.  I was allowed to drive it occasionally

So I thought I'd like to try the Airfix 1/43 Jaguar E-type and I found one on ebay, packaged together with an Airfix 1/32 Aston Martin DBR9

I bid on them and won them for £15.49. (inc post) Not bad for two kits

BUT . . . before they arrived I was in my storage unit and I found I'd already bought the 1/43 Jaguar and I have two of the AM DBR9!

Bad record keeping

Something I can't understand...

I don't have one model more than once...no kidding...(kiting🤣)....but I wonder why I can use so many identical same parts for so many models...

😇...especially wheels and something like that...and...ok, some Minis and other icons...but that doesn't count...these items were purchased for plans,  ideas, madness, or....

Don't laugh.....

No kits, but some nice decals and paints for a few builds planned for next year :)

I'm going to build more next year and buy less, honest......... 😅
