I'm of the same opinion re the Morgan. Nice tail lights, anyway.

Looking at period photos, most still had door handles. Only the really radical ones didn't. Glad I'm not the only one. 😶

What CAR/BIKE kits have you recently bought, Mk.3?
Six97s replied to Black Knight's topic in Vehicle Discussion
Nope, same here. -
The convertible top doesn't retract fully into the body, so the cover needs those bumps to clear it. I think it is symmetrical, but there's a reflection on the driver's side hump.

Three on the A5 this afternoon: a red XJ-S cabriolet, a dark blue 1967 Buick WIldcat convertible and a mustard 🤢 Rover P6.

I tried and failed to find a photo of Larry Watson's candy painted light bulb display. 🙁 Bummer about the hood though.

Horses for courses... I like cutting up sheet plastic as much as the next man, but there is a limit. 3D printing allows for so much more detail and precision.. I could never have done these othewrwise.

Not a bad kit for its age. I'll keep an eye out for one.

Nice. Can we see more of the Gremlin? -

Maybe I'm lucky. I've had no problems with my Mars 4 Ultra over the last 18 months. -
1955 GMC, 1949/50 Ford F1, 1939 Mercury. 1958 Dodge.

They look cleaner with the headlamp covers closed. I guess they're stuck open... 😑

It's a '55 Handyman wagon, Bel Air trim level. Beauville was a Canadian Chevrolet name, like Parisienne with Pontiac.

I've tried various liquid remedies, but if anything they seem to exacerbate the problem. 🤔 -
I saw a Lotus Enema Emira this afternoon. I had to look it up... Also, not one but two Build Your Dreams Dolphins - something I was previously unaware of, and wish I still was.

Needs a slap for putting those wheels on it. 🧐

Don't sell yourself short, yours looks great. I've been following with interest, even if I haven't got around to commenting... 😳 -

I've gone a bit off-piste (for me) and bought Tamiya Lotus Europa and Seven kits. I've never built a Tamiya car kit, so might pull one up the queue, for a change of pace. -

Lovely, though the AM Zagato is a bit too '80s for me... 😁 -
It looks like it's coincident with the thickening of the cross-section on the print. I would tilt the model so that line isn't parallel with the build plate and I'd consider adding some conventional supports in that area.

I was going to suggest asking on the more US-centric MCM forum, but I see you already have a thread there. 🙃 There's also the TRaK forum, which is more aligned with the subject matter, but it's been rather quiet lately.

Looking for a Car Model Paint Manufacturer...

I've recently starting using ProScale too and I'm very happy with the results. This is a base coat, airbrushed straight from the bottle - no clear coat yet: -
It does, but it's wrong. The wide stripes were only available for the '70 - '72 model years. The thinner side stripes would be correct for a factory original '68,

1955 Ford Courier (sedan delivery). Nearest kit is the venerable AMT '56 Ford Victoria, but that's a 2 door hardtop. There have been a few resin sedan delivery bodies, but approach with caution...

Nice, that has the 430ci Lincoln engine, like Bill Shepherd's '59 that races at Goodwood. Not keen on the low profile tyres though. 😕
