Myrsky
Hello friends. I show the latest work I've done. This is the Trumpeter Wellington Mk.III 1/72. It is a very detailed model but showing a geodesic structure too steep and you have to soften when painting. I have tried to represent an aircraft with many hours of service ... and I think I've got a proper wear. Hope you like it.greetingsFernando Edited October 21, 2014 by Myrsky

Darby
Filthy, battered, abused....great! I did a Mk1 a while ago and yes the Geo is a bit overemphasised but it's a kit I enjoyed making

tonyot
That is one of the best finished Wimpey`s that I have ever seen, well done. I really hope that whoever did the decals (Xtradecal?) actually meant to apply the code KD to the sheet o represent an aircraft belonged to 30 OTU based at Hixon and that they have not mistaken this for the similar looking code KO of 115 Sqn- which wore a very similar style of codes? If it is meant to be a 115 Sqn machine then the corners of the `D' can be quite easily modified to become `O`s' I suppose, but I hope that my concern is misplaced and that it is actually a 30 OTU Wimpey? Cheers Tony

Gimme Shelter
absolutely stunning model - this is the best Wellington I have seen - the weathering is superb. I built Trumpeters 1/48 Wellington about 8 years ago - this looks like a shrunk down version of what I remember making myself

Winenut
What an absolutely astonishing work of art in 1:72 That is just brilliant Awesome weathering and the underlying structure has been handled really well. Particularly like the chipping, exhaust and the many weathered highlights. Superb......wish it was in my cabinet for sure

Myrsky
Thank you very much, folks. I'm really grateful for your kind words.I can say that the kit is superb and pieces fit perfectly. On the question by tonyot I must say that the decals from Xtradecal actually propose a Mk.III KD-X3662 P 115 Sqn RAF East Wretham 1942. If code must be KO rather than KD I'll try to fix it.Thank you very much again and greetingsFer
