Popular Post sanfrandragon
This is my effort to build Wingnut Wings’ post war F.2b. Of course it makes up into a beautiful model and is pretty straight forward, although I think next time I would add the engine firewall after fitting the cockpit. I used ezline for the rigging without any turnbuckles this time. I think I’m just about at my limit in terms of finish here, so would welcome suggestions on how to improve. Anyhow, on to the pics: 94

franky boy
Lovely model. I’ve always preferred the Brisfit in its post WW1 silver paint schemes. James

RichieW
I have no suggestions for improving your finish, it looks superb. Yoi should be very proud of your efforts. Glad you didn't use turnbuckles BTW. Richie 1

Sure, the markings are as seen in a photograph in 1926 at Aboukir in Egypt for aircraft B2. I believe Aboukir was an RAF aircraft depot at this time, maybe someone knows more?

mack
Your build makes justice to a British calssic. Congrats! The Bristol Fighter and the Sopwith Snipe are the WNW models I would have liked to build; too late now...
