philp
Looking good Ced. I just started the decals Tamiya's 72nd Tony. It is a review kit so no pics to post but they sent me the camo decals so doing that scheme. Never placed decals over decals so should be an adventure.

All the best Chris Thanks Chris I was very good last night - just a Pims. I think my body was probably trying to tell me something. Good evening had by all with Imelda May singing too, a real treat. Finally got the camo one finished: One of the pair: One shouldn't have favourites I'm told (it's the silver one). Now I have to get my hanging skills together and get these on the ceiling: Thanks as always for all your help, support and company during this relaxing build, a nice break to be honest. What's next? People tell me I'm ready for the Hasegawa Beaufighter that I've been saving until my skills were up to it. WiP started here. Wish me luck and come on over.

CedB
Thanks Ian, Simon, Giorgio, Martian and Roger for commenting on that nice pair - you should enjoy the Bristols then Thanks Tony, Håkan, Chris and Cookie Thanks Stuart - they'll be hung soon, I hope, but I'm finding the invisible thread a bit fiddly nowadays. I wish I could do that surgeon's knot, you know the one where you just wave your hands about and tie the thread 3 hours ago, perdu said: I know less than the square root of buggerall about late version Spitfires so you had a trip without my constant interruptions but I was looking in, just well, in case And lo, without my interference you got along perfectly well they look wonderful Ced I will keep schtummer from now on too I know nothing about Bristols He he... Christer A
Looking at the shelf it's clear that you've been very busy! (and could've let some spitfires use their lovely legs to rest on)) The latest Mk22:s looks very very nice! Time to head over to the Bristol area then...
The Spadgent
Crikey!!!😵 done already. A great set of spits. I love em both, a great finish for sure but I think I like the camo one best, that 4 on the wing is super cool. Bravo sir. I must pop over to the new one before that ones done too.🏃♂️ Johnny.
CedB
Thanks John, very kind Thanks Stuart for the knotty instructions - I'll try that (if I can work out what it's about!) Videos on YouTube too. Thanks Christer - I have limited space in 'the cabinet' but lots of room on the ceiling so 'wheels down' is being reserved for very special models Thanks Johnny Bit slower on the Beau I think... Still hangin'. Not as in 'relaxed and chilled out' but as in 'fighting with invisible thread' Also I have problems holding my arms above my head for long periods... all the blood rushes out... must be my age or summat. Red Arrows are up: Spitfires progressing - four down up: ... nine to go. Both Mk.22s and a PRXIX at the top. The lower one in the dive is, of course, EN409 in its power dive - the PR XI used for high speed research, "stripped of all operational equipment", achieved Mach 0.92 - still "the highest ever achieved by a piston engined aircraft". This is discussed further here. WiP thread here. Please ignore the peeling lining paper - it's on the DIY list 3

Courageous
Nice to see the ceiling diorama with you work. I'm in the process of doing the same in the 'man cave' mk2. but it'll have a lonely Hurricane at this stage. Stuart
