HL-10
I have never built such a small scale kit before so this has been quite an education. Its Airfix's kit with the WEM etched set. The microscopic parts were a real fiddle, and my eyes ached after some of the sessions! I've done it, its on my shelf, but I don't think I would build one again soon! I take my hat off to ship modellers, you have the patience of a saint, and the eye sight of a micro surgeon! photos upload photoupload image hosting free screen shot windows 7 upload image online upload pic free image host upload a picture image uploader host image image Thank you for looking

stevehnz
That is truly wonderful. Being a RN/FAA fan, I'd love to do domething like this. Knowing my propensity for overeaching my abilities, I'll just enjoy yours, there is plenty about it too enjoy. Steve.

HL-10
Thanks everybody for the comments and the likes This was a real trial, sometimes I wonder why I do it! My wife was looking over my shoulder as I was building the Swordfishes. She muttered one word, and walked away, "Mad".

GernotH
Oh nice!! I haven't seen the old Airfix kit done up to look this brilliant ever. My hat's off to you sir, my hair's thinning just looking at the work in that. Having built the old Airfix kit more than 25 years ago now, and having the l'Arsenal one in my "stash", I can say this does the old girl full justice.
Jockster
I remember getting this one Christmas/birthday when I was a kid, I never liked the folded wings because I couldn't pretend to fly them. Wonderful build and beautiful paint job. And you wonder why you do it? The results more than speak for themselves. Niiiice!
