Thanks @bissyboat, @Zephyr91, @Johnson, @cobraleader, @Dr. Quack, @giemme, @AdrianMF, @AliGauld, @Hamden, and @elger.

Hospital went we;;, but my tea didn`t, got back to the local shops yearning for a Chicken Dhansak etc only to find that the take away was closed on Wednesday luckily the Chippie was open next door, and it was nice too.

Well with the cold weather of late, I have not been able to do much in the cave.

On with the build.

Landing light fitted, a disc of card painted silver.

DSCN3964

Also top seam repaired.

DSCN3965

Landing light cover fixed into place, just needs to be blended  into shape.

DSCN3967

And ejector pin marks re-filled on the doors.

DSCN3968

Stay warm folks.

Simon.

I always find these tricky, they never seem to quite fit the wing profile. And this one seems no better!

I'm sure it will look good once blended.

Glad the hospital visit went OK.

Cheers,

OK, nothing done over the last day and a half due to life but this afternoon I managed to fit the Nav/Formation lights.

Airfix really balls up on the instructions here with the numbering so anyone building this check the clear parts first unlike me DOH.

Leaving those to set and will clean them up tomorrow, hopefully.

Stay dry.

I still reckon Airfix could have made transparent wingtips for this kit, like the company did for the Victor kits. Much easier to mask, little risk of getting the wrong one in place, and no risk of small transparencies falling prey to the carpet monster (without spares).

I wish all companies would do that Steve, it would lead to cleaner lines.

We will see Giorgio, maybe a wipe some 2000/4000 paper to smooth her.
