I have never had that problem before with Tamiya Gloss .

No, it definitely shouldn't do that!

Possibly a moisture/humidity/temperature problem when drying?

Cheers,

Charlie

I don`t know Charlie, I have an inline moisture trap and it was about 12.C .

It may of been contamination in the airbrush, but she blew through clear.

That is a surprising reaction with the gloss.

You'll sort it but Man, that's annoying.

Cheers,

Alistair

The first thought I had was that you'd stated on the weathering... Coming from that angle. could you work that into the final look?

I might just do Thom, see below.

After a word with my guru @giemme I tried another Varnish , Alcad2 Aqua Gloss.

And I think that it may of done the trick.

Should be able to rescue that, can you get it back onto the backing paper and gently tease it back straight with a brush or cut and shut the individual pieces?

I did try, but as you will see the bleeding thing shattered.

Thanks @GREG DESTEC.

I followed @Farmerboy advice and got it onto the backing paper .

DSCN4147

But it shattered on impact so to say, but I applied the other decals in that area.

DSCN4148

I have got some black decals around and will have ago at building one.

Wing roundels on.

DSCN4149

I`m leaving things to dry overnight before venturing any farther, mind you they are only stencils and small stuff left.

Staying calm and drinking coffee.

Simon I think I have the font on the PC so if you give me the size needed I could cut the masks on the cutter and get them off to you.

God Knows how long they would take to arrive at this time of year but the offer is open.

Cheers,

Alistair
