Fuad
Hi, folks! Let me present you my next model. This model is long discontinued. I barely found it somewhere in Luxembourg. Unfortunately, 72nd scale is not able to pass all the techniques that I used to simulate aging and weathering paint. I drew inspiration from the work of one of our Greek colleagues, who made this gorgeous model in 48th scale. Unfortunately, the cockpit canopy was yellow in my set. I also added to the model a few homemade items.

JOCKNEY
Hi Fuad Another masterpiece from you I see, and great to see another seaplane / float plane / flying boat being built to such a high standard. I think the yellow canopy could have been a factory optional extra, it would keep the sun off you when using it in the south of France and avoid needing your own sunglasses. Fuad
Thanks for the kind comments, especially for the courageous explanation of yellow canopy))). I repeatedly used here the "salt technology" to show the different layers of paint. But small size of model made all of the effects not possible to see. Nothing, I do it again on the larger models))). Thank you!

VG 33
This is very nice. I have this kit also in my stash, actually I have the whole Azur range. Some of them have a yellow canopy now and I hope some will be reissued. The trouble comes from a bunch of clear sheets which were not so good over the time at MPM Production. Later they had some slightly blue tinted canopy and they are still nice. Maybe later I will make some new vac canopy using the yellow one as a master with plaster inside. Thank you for sharing.
