AHA ! so the clue is something / someone pretending to be somebody/something else in the movie the dambusters

so as LINCOLNS stood in for Lancasters in some background shots the Dambusters we must be getting a LINCOLN ! :)

Well done, Sherlock! Let's hope you're right.

To get back on topic. I think we should all stop wondering whats coming in the new year 'cos there won't be one as the world is supposed to end in the coming days. Unless of course Airfix will be issuing a large scale Mayan Temple kit to appease the Gods!! The clue is in the way the parcels are roughly was shaped as a pyramid in the Advent calendar!!

Easy way around that - buy them yourself...!! :D

 Already taken care of. However, any additional contribution DOES of course help!!. I can see a few of these Airfix goodies being added.... Especially if it 's a Lincoln!!!

C-130 HERCULES NEW TOOL!!! It would tantamount to a license to print money if Airfix would grace us with a new tool Herk to the latest standards...

I can see myself buying 8-10 kits (and being put to sleep in our balcony by my companion Karin ;))...

And think of all the variants and dozens of colour schemes - to say nothing of the boxing opportunities!

Please (every god, goddess, supreme being and holy spirit ever created by humankind) hear my prayer!

Well, there's apparently a lot of complex thinking going on to decipher those images and clues - has anyone been able to perform the gymnastics of logic that would suggest a totally new 1/72 Yak-9 is on the way?

Well, someone mentioned there being 32 new tools (info from the 2013 catalogue?) and there's only space for 24 of them on the calendar, so it could be one of the other eight.

If there is to be a new Dambusters Lanc wotabout the thought that it could tie into Peter Jackson's proposed 'Dambusters 2 3D'?

Then it could be tied into his Wingnut Wings persona and be a co production IN 1/32 SCALE!!!

Nurse - my medication is wearing off coz I'm hallucinating

 My girlfriend has actually suggested MY spare room be turned into a display room! There is a downside of course! She won't buy me any kits until my stash is reduced!! :weep:

At least that means you won't get kits which you didn't want.

(ok it was worth a shot........)

This line of enquiry is getting a bit confusing for me. Next they will be saying that Richard Todd never even went on the dams raid in the first place...

Quite right he didn't. He was at Pegasus Bridge (or thereabouts).

Ah ha Airfix must be hearing about the words exchanged on this important Forum as I note this morning that they have changed the Advent Calendar software to prevent multiple entries from an email address.

I tried to enter twice and "it" told me that I had used my e address, so it's one shot only.

I wonder if they have tightened up on the other loop-holes.

I'd like a 1/48th Gladiator - I already have a Roden one, its very nice.

I've got a Heller 1/72nd Gladiator, I open the box and look at the contents every now and then, think about making it then realise the pure folly of such churlish thoughts. If those nice Airfix people release a 1/72nd scale Gladiator, I'll happily make the Heller kit, so please Mr Airfix, for Heller's sake, release the Gladiator in 1/72nd... ...and 1/48th... ...oh, and 1/24th... ...please!

Before they changed the links, I seem to recall that the picture for December 32nd was 9 great long haired beasts with big horns, the caption being:

'If you don't scrub that kitchen floor, You ain't gonna rock and roll no more. Ya............"

I have no idea what that could mean....!!!! :D

Did we decide what kit the Dive Dive Dive clue was hinting at. One tool or more? Could we be looking at a U boat, escort vessel, tramp steamer and Coastal Command aircraft Battle of the Atlantic multi boxing? 1:600 would be obvious but 1:350 would be mouth watering.

When Airfix do that, you can build the Heller one in the Obsolete Kit GB. :D

I think that the Micheal Redgrave picture hints at a 1:8th scale kit of Micheal Redgrave as part if a new Stars Of The Silver Screen series of kits, because we all know how well the England Stars sets sold

Great! I hope they do an Alec Guiness circa "Kind Hearts and Coronets" in this series although they'll probably do him in the "Ladykillers", oh well, there's always the chance they'll do Joyce Grenfell circa "Blue Murder at St Trinians"...

...enough of this, hey Airfix where's my 1/48th scale Tempest? It better be amongst those new releases you haven't revealed yet!
