ICM 1/32 Gloster Sea Gladiator MK.II

Recommended Posts

What a fantastic kit.

Any issues and errors in the build were wholly down to me.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one as my first ever 1/32 completion.

Primed with Mr. Finishing Surfacer 1500 Black.

Painted with,

Colourcoats Interior Grey Green, Light Slate Grey, Dark Sea Grey, Dark Slate Grey, Extra Dark Sea Grey, Sky Grey, FAA/RAF Yellow, White and Bomber Night Black.

Tamiya, Flat Aluminium, Rubber Black, Nato Black, Dark Iron, Gun Metal, Clear Red and Clear Green.

Xtreme Metals Steel, Burnt Metal and Jet Exhaust.

Washed and filtered with various Windsor and Newton oils.

Finished with Windsor and Newton Galeria Matt Varnish.

Aftermarket.

Yahu IP and AIMS Rigging.

Master 0.303 Browning Gun Barrels.

She looks wonderful Alistair.

Great finish and pics to.

Looking forward to the Aircobra mate.

Simon.

What no bread bin?

Thanks so much Simon,

Chris has worked out the multiple bread bin trick so I'm going to have to come up with something else to mess with his head. :wicked:

Awesome Sea Gladiator Alistair,  great looking model and really enjoyed following along.  Looks very impressive,  hope you do more 32nd kits.

Great work

Chris

Thanks Chris,

Most kind. There are one or four in the loft although it may be a while before I attempt the Liberator.

Alistair,

Superb build and finish of this lovely kit. I am severely tempted on this evidence to complement my Glad with a Sea Glad! Great work indeed,

Thanks so much Roger.

At the risk of repeating myself I would love to see a real modeller doing this.

Thanks very much.

It is truly a lovely kit.

I was a foil and sabre man at school nice to see another fencer about the place.

Great build @AliGauld I’m building one at the moment. Is the AIMS rigging set worthy getting?

Bruce

Thanks Bruce,

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the rigging set.

It comes with instructions on where to drill to get the best out of it.

Hope that helps.

Cheers,

Alistair
