IT_Man
Wow, January is particularly uninspiring! I love the old Churchill AVRE but not enough to spend £20 on one! (rrp is £22.49! Discounts can be found like below but still) https://www.models2u.co.uk/contents/en-uk/p16787_Churchill-A.V.R.E..html (Nice box art though)
Sparkie
Good old Revell and their random scales, hot on the heels of a 1/72 Razor Crest we have Boba Fetts Starship to sit alongside it in 1/72 , lets go for 1/88 instead!

TEXANTOMCAT
Thats a naughty mark up for the AVRE! Especially as by and large in my experience Matchbox decals seem to endure very well and you can grab an old boxing for around half that or less! MrB17
Just now, bentwaters81tfw said: I have built a J and a D, sold an unbuilt J and still have another D in stock. I gave my built D to a friend, I built it as “Lemon Drop” before it became a formation ship. I took the props from a couple of C-47 kits, because they didn’t change the sprue with the props from paddle blade to tapered blades. A funny thing about the B-24 props, is the hubs on the props look too small, don’t know why but I replaced the ones on my J with ones from their B-17, (I have way too many) which look proper. The choice is rather limited as the kit comes w/o tropical fillter and wing gondolas. There is very few photo evidence of planes in tropical dress with absent trop. filter (if so, mostly at repair/maintainance facilities). Most likely are JG 54 in the Soviet Union, JG 5 with splinter, boring "Mölders style" or a "North African exception". Only with some luck there will be more than 2 versions. Blessed are all modellers who still have the decal sheet from the Hasegawa G-2/4 boxing. One of the best decal sheets that has ever been made by Revell.

JFM148
I am really glad to see Revell AG coming back little by little from the sudden bankruptcy in 2016. Now with the new owners I hope they will rescue the brand with affordable nice quality models. Monogram used to be a great company for those of us old enough to enjoy their products. I also hope they release a Vintage line like Airfix is doing.

Two new tools for the next nine months and one is just a delayed 2021 release (the F-15). Even worse, no repops of their excellent early 2000s kits like the Fw 200 or Ju 290, no cooperations with Hasegawa or the likes (one of the last cooperations I can think of was Eduard's 190D for a significantly higher price, with fewer decal options, while the Eduard version is very much available) , no reissue of slightly dated but interesting kits from the 80s or 90s like the Privateer. Then again, being disappointed by the new Revell lineup is a New Year's tradition at this point.
