I'd be up for one of these, then I could do an RNZAF Op Firedog one & the one I saw at Coventry some years ago. :)

Thank you Pete57 !

Remember informative thread titles (with scale, type complete designation & company/producer) contribute to the smooth functioning of the search engine as well as to the efficiency of the information of the forum members.

AccsGB (https://www.onthewaymodels.com/kitlists/AccsGB.htm) -  The kits will include the 3D printed decals for the cockpit and possibly there will be four different boxings.

First boxings release is expected in October 2021.

Pale blue picture background and sprues definitely look like MikroMir/AMP publications. Rather logical as this Ukrainian company also work as subcontractor for other model kit brands.

Information: The development of the model, printing of sprue, print decals, boxes and instructions are done in Ukraine. The model is designed in Ukraine specifically for British company AccsGB.

For the 1/48th de Havilland DH.112 Venom MikroMir's project, the thread is here:

something about that topic title

Harsh, but true :P could be delivered in a better way though.
@Pete57 :  you can report your double-entry so the mods can remove that one, and change the title on this one to something more suitable.

Been looking at the cost of some of their 1/72 armour kits on Hannants website. I'm picking this will be up there price wise. My Aeroclub one is looking like a good investment.

The same photo is shown on the 72nd Scale Aircraft site as the sprue for the 1/72 kit.  It looks rather more like 1/48 to me.

I thought the size of the sprue vs the kit parts was similar to my Airfix Vampire T.11. Perhaps I'm just over-hopeful of a new/accurate/easy to build Venom in 1/72!

I've just received a personal message from MikroMir/AMP confirming they have well designed and developped new tool 1/72nd de Havilland DH.112 Venom kits for a "British client".

They've also confirmed me that their 1/48th de Havilland DH.112 Venom kits project is in progress.

Conclusion: it's confirmed AccsGB will soon release new tool 1/72nd de Havilland DH.112 Venom kits.

I reckon I could stump up for one of these. Finally a new tool DH Venom!

Will the interesting new releases stop? I thought 2021 was going to be quiet, but the stuff I am keen on, it just keeps coming. Checked that AccsGB are handled by Hannants that might make availability a bit easier, at least in the UK.

That is definitely a very great and long expected news. Just in time I'm getting done with my Vampire so I can now continue with DH twinboomers!

Also looks like it's going to be the first 1/72 kit for AccsGB. Seems possible that this has been originally contracted by S&M (like Provost, Sycamore and Canberra) but now due to sad events will be released by another firm.

Be still my beating heart! Looks like the design will allow for different upper cockpits, so an NF3 might be on the cards too!

An NF.3 would be fab.

Does anybody know the correct phase of the moon under which to sacrifice a cockerel to the modelling gods to encourage the production of a 1/72 injection moulded Sea Venom? Asking for a friend.

There is a very nice 1/72 kit of the Sea Venom by Dragon. Also bears some reamblance to the original.

It is a very nice looking kit, but the short comings shape  and detail wise have been discussed at length on here

I have one and compared it to the Frog kit, which despite its age is, I understand, dimensionally accurate. The Dragon/Cyberhobby kit does seem to have some peculiar shape and size issues.

I'm also highly interested.

I've built the s&M Canberra that seems to be a stablemate of this Venom and I'm very satisfied with the result, although it surely took some work. But IIRC some Britmodellers were less than enthusiastic about the Canberra kit. So I wonder what the verdict will be on the Venom.

I tried a query with Dan Taylor Models who I thought handled these models but they say they will not be selling the Venom because it doesn't fit with their ranges. Anyone know any contact other than that?

I had thought that registering an interest or even a pre order might help them but it looks a bit hidden away. I saw Hannants mentioned earlier in the thread but AccsGB doesn't appear to be within their list of suppliers. Any assistance welcomed.
