spacer.pngI got these as part of a bulk purchase at an estate sale. Picked up 3 large boxes full of kits for dirt cheap. These are just the armor kits.

My latest "catch" has not been built by the company yet. It will be an addition to my old Pz.Kpfw. I Ausf. B by Zvezda. Which I built back in the last century.

Nipped up to Hannants for a mooch and stumbled upon this. I can finish my Stug D now as it has the right air filters and other bits.👍

Had an email from my brother yesterday to say that my package from Accurate Armour had arrived. So next time that I'm over in Blighty, I shall be the proud owner of the last AA Bedford RL kit (unless of course, they cast some more).

 I hope someone does.  I couldn't afford them previously but could save for a future production.   I have had to borrow an AA Bedford RL in order to measure it for a scratchbuild, probably the only way I might achieve owning one.

cheers,

Mike

I've been meaning to get one for ages, but never got around to it. Now I need to get some plans for the signals body with a coffin over the cab, and then I will be set. The kit is of a slightly later model that my wagon, but apart from the plate with Bedford on it, I don't think that there is much difference.

I think we can reasonably hold out hope for someone like Gecko or CAMs.  We have the MWs from Gecko and now the OS and OX from CAMS.  So CAMS are part of the way there already.

Yes,  I am looking forward to seeing the Bedford OS and the Bedford OX from CAMS on sale in the UK next year.  There's no sign from anyone showing any pre-order options yet though.

The great thing about these kits is that they served in the war and some went on to commercial use postwar.  As such, I intend to get a few; plus, I want to learn how to CAD civilian road wheels for their time in commercial use.

cheers,
Mike

And literally a few minutes ago a parcel arrived from TMD with some goodies including Joe's lovely early M4A1 / Michael conversion.  It is a thing of beauty with lovely thin major castings.

Another one of those "it was too good a price to pass up" purchases.

Thankfully there's a set of Canadian markings included in the box.

Just arrived today from Sydney. Got it for a bargain price. Added to the stash as I have plans for my next project. Possibly will do just out of the box using the Staffordshire Yeomanry markings, but open to other suggestions.

Picked an Ace 1/72 Bmp-2D up off ebay last night. Been eyeing one for a while and they seem to be getting harder to find.

Now to find the metal barrel I'm sure I have in the stash for it!!

Sprue Brothers has a 20% off on Miniart this weekend, so of course I had to order something even though I just placed an order with them earlier in the week for a  Magic Factory M7A3 B-FIST Bradley.  Ordered one of the newish Miniart Stuarts with interior, which I've been waiting for.  Their weekend sales and especially their Lightning Deals have been great for picking up kits that are usually cost-prohibitive.

Recently added the Airfix 1/32 Rommel's Half Track to the stash.... seemed a bargain at £18

You make me feel guilty.

I saw one in a charity shop window a couple of years ago with a price sticker on it for £5.

I was so surprised to see a kit in a charity shop window that I went in and bought it, giving an extra £2 for it.

It’s still in the stash.

Couple more ebay purchases on their way to the badgerlair.

Firstly a long out of production Lionmarc resin replacement turret for the AFV Australian Centurion. Been looking for one of these for years so this was a real find.

Secondly a part started Airfix 1/35 T34/85 for a very reasonable £9. Also picked up a DEF Models replacement barrel and etch set from a Fields of Glory flash offer for it.

Just find to find some time now!
