D-Day Typhoon FGR4 Revell 1/72

Recommended Posts

Coningsby have done a lovely job with the D-Day Typhoon but what if they'd gone the whole hog and camo'd it as well?
was asked to built just that in a smaller scale and i have to say it looks great in camo.

Hope you agree

I believe that this is not so much of a what if than a nearly was.... The model was built for the designer of the scheme on the real thing. sadly the camo was dropped but the stripes retained.

There's a post here someone put with a picture of the Typhoon and Spit together and I said then pity they didn't do the full camo' and this just confirms it, lovely job :goodjob:

Now that looks like a proper DDay Typhoon. Don't get me wrong I really like the Modern Tiffy and the stripes...but like this a lot more, if you know what I mean. Great build :goodjob:
