Just catching up with your build young Martian. This hurts my eyes 🤣 Not your modelling of course, quite the contrary there, but the design looks like it was put forwards as a bet!

This is stunning David. The finesse of the panel lines and neatness of the paintwork give it a scale like accuracy which is difficult in 1/144. A gorgeous scheme too!

Finished at last... Tarpon on the deck...
woody37 replied to corsaircorp's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
A lovely build and love the scheme you've chosen. I do miss tony O'Toole being on here, but at least get my feast of his builds through his Facebook page. -
I'd love to say this is a beautiful build, but can only compliment your workmanship, not the aircraft design! I can only imagine the conversation when they said to the test pilot that we have this new plane that we'd like you to test out for us 🤣 Lovely detailing and brings to life the diverse designs that we had back then.

Boeing 707-365C, British Eagle. Roden 1/144
woody37 replied to Viking's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Roden kits can be a bit of a fight, but I'm a big fan of the subjects they choose so worth it. This is beautiful John, pure nostalgia delivered in your usual top notch way! I've built the 720, but been tempted to get one of these too. I quite fancy doing one in the Britannia scheme. Cheers- 28 replies

Mosquito PR XVI [1/72 Special Hobby]
woody37 replied to Rémi's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
That's a great finish. Have you built the Airfix kit and how does it compare if so? -
I've heard this competes with Mach 2 kits to build but you've hidden that well! Must be imposing in the flesh
-
Must have missed this first time round, what a lovely build of a great looking aircraft.

The Typhoon looks great in this scheme, beautiful finish. Such a shame we never got to see more interesting liveries on the Tiffie other than this, and the usual grey / green.
