Hi folks,

Well, she's completed. The machine depicted is VV628 CB, 14 Squadron TAF. RAF Fassberg, West Germany. Early 1950's

All paint used is Gunze, with the exception of Model Master PRU Blue underneath. Varnish is Xtracolor Matt XDFF.

It only dawned on me after I did these pictures that I'd forgotten to remove the liquid mask from the wing tip lights!

Well, that's 100% more models that I built in the whole of 2011. Does that mean I can sit on my bottom again until 2013?

That's a crackin' finish Jim... it'd look great sat next to Spence's NMF one from the other day. :)

It's the same one I'm going to do, as me auld fella was stationed at Fassberg in the 50s during his National Service.

I can only echo the previous posts, an absolute beauty and close to home for me, my father was an armourer at Fassberg in the early 50's before going on to a BD flight I'm trying to find which Squadron he was on so I can build the relevant model, I only hope I can do it the justice and produce as a great a model as you've posted here.

Fantastic job, love the vampire in camp. This kit gets my vote as kit of the year, yeah I know everyone went gaga over the tamiya mustang, but, after all, its a tamiya kit, you know what you are getting.

This kit was just so unexpected, I just about fell over when I got mine. I love the engineering< Alistair has really thought outside the box to come up with an easy to assemble kit

Sweet job.

My venom arrives this week to join a recently completed T bird and a soon to be completed vixen, which has been on the go for the last year or so.
