gryphon28
Hello everyone This is Airfix’s recent 1/48 Vampire F3 built out of the box for an article in Scale Modelling Now. I really enjoyed this kit despite some challenges along the way. SMN is an online resource for all modelling genres and the build hopefully makes for an interesting read ! Hey there, You will need to cram as much as you can, in what is actually a quite cramped space, fair to say that it was an absolute nightmare. Some ingenuity later, she sits comfortably on the nose wheel, which hopefully won’t bend over time. I will now go and get more therapy!
gunpowder17
Looking good. I came across a build on youtube that used tungsten putty for nose weight. I gave it a try and it works great! 1
