kopperhed
I was about to buy the Air Classics kit on ebay, glad I did not.
LN-KEH
Have to dig out the sales prospect from when Vought attempted to sell these aircraft to Norway in 39/40. The Army Air Arm liked it and their agent in Norway began to prepare for license production. Unfortunately, first deliveries were not possible until late 40, so the deal we to Curtis that could deliver half a year earlier.
neilh
I have the Air Collection injected kit and the vac form Karo kit as I had the thought of using the resin details from the latter in the former. Even looking in the box though it's a project I have put off many times! Would be nice to get a nice detailed injected kit of this aircraft. Christer A
This should look great in the intended Swedish markings

Need to get at least two so I can mark one as it was at Vultee and do one in a WIF marking.

Work In Progress
Looking promising. It's an aeroplane that I wish had found more RAF usage. Not many people seem aware that the P-66 was designed by Richard Palmer, who also did the successful Hughes H-1 racer, and I'd say there is some family resemblance.

Shorty84
Dora Wings and their subject choice is making me bankrupt. Every single release of them is a hit in my wallet Cheers Markus 3

If I understand the CAD pictures correct it looks like that the longer rear part of the canopy will be included as an option as well? Oh, And if one would like, one can mark it with Swedish crowns with out it being a WHIF. (with the longer canopy) 3

dora
By the way, maybe anyone else have more photos of Vanguard Mk.1, except BW209? Or was it the only one who was tested in the RAF? Thanks!

GTX
Given the RAAF tried to get some of these in 1942, I'm thinking a whatif one in RAAF scheme (either P-40 or CAC Boomerang style) would be interesting.
