Looking forward to this one! Knew someone that owned one back in the 1990s
-
One can only hope this sees the light of day. I was certainly looking forward to this kit.
-
Hopefully a well done kit. Having built the Valom and the Hobby Boss kits, I doubt I'll go for another.

the Alpha and Omega of P-51 design in 1/48
Hub Plott replied to Hub Plott's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
The XP-51 full kit is based on the Accurate Miniatures early Mustang and fits as well as that kit does. The Enforcer conversion(like their conversion for the Dart powered Turbo-mustang, for one that looks really different) is for the excellent Eduard P-51D kit so absolutely no issue there. -
The full resin kit of the XP-51 and the resin conversion of the Piper Enforcer both by Halberd.

1/48 - Fairey Fulmar Mk.I/II by Trumpeter - Mk.I & Mk.II released
Hub Plott replied to Homebee's topic in The Rumourmonger
I've built the 1/48 MPM Fulmar so I'm good on Fulmars, unless a really interesting real scheme pops up from decal makers. -
They are in the 1/48 Collectaire kit so if no one does them in 1/72 you could get a scan of that sheet and reduce it and print your own.

Mike has said it will be available in August when he re-opens his website. $195.00

Got their J-21, J-29 and the Tarangus B17 pluse a resin FFVS J-22 so this will be a nice edition to the collection! Like Homebee now just have to wait on the J-21R!

Thank you! It goes together well. The photoetch for around the cabin windows is extremely thin and easily damaged.

All in all a nice productive year. 1/48 Airfix Bristol Blenheim 1/48 Collect-Aire XF-84H Thunderscreech 1/48 Tamiya Captured Kawasaki Ki-61 w/ Max decals 1/48 Resin Raiders of the Lost Arc flying wing (Bv-38) 1/48 Lukgraph DH 90 1/48 Airfix Hawker Sea Fury w/Aeromaster decals 1/48 Dora Wings P-35 1/48 MicroMir Junkers W.34 1/48 ICM OV-10 1/48 Dora Wings P-43 1/48 RCR resin CR-25 1/48 Avis Zerbe Air Sedan. Sometimes you don't know you need something until you see it. his one was so weird I just had to have it. Designed and built in Fayetteville Arkansas and per Wikipedia:The Air Sedan was piloted by Tom Flannery on its first and only flight in 1921 at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Fayetteville. The aircraft took off and quickly climbed to 100 ft (30 m), flew approximately 1000 ft (300 m) then was significantly damaged during landing.[3] One report states: "After that Zerbe left town never to be heard of or seen again. (He died in New York in 1921). What happened to the abandoned damaged plane is unknown."[3] 1/48 ICM Bristol Beaufort (finished 12/29) w/Xtradecals

Yes but Zerbe was found, dead in NYC in 1921............... Glad Tom walked away from the crash.

Built mine last month. Nice kit and found some nice resin wicker seats from Barracuda Decals that were a big improvement. Whoever flew that thing had to have very large pelotas.
-
May just have to upgrade the old Sinifer built-up in my display case.
