Ad-4N
Jump on it while you can. The last time the 1/72 Academy B-377 was issued was 1999.

roginoz
OH YES !! My second favourite of the early airliners, {after the Connie] and which we used to see at LHR in the 50's when the Queens Building observation deck was open. Gotta have one of these !
busnproplinerfan
I remember when this came out, also remember a PE set was available. It was only around $61 Cdn I think at that time, now it's as much as the real one. Like to get one this time.
Caerbannog
This one will be hard to resist 🙂 I seem to remember the original one was discounted to sub 20 Eur here - and I missed it
Work In Progress
This is terrific news, especially since Academy decals of the previous vintage were somewhat lacking in flexibility and adhesion.
SAT69
I do like the markings they selected.
Admiral Puff
I've got a couple of the original Academy release; without any doubt I'll have a couple more of these! IIRC someone (I think it was Cobra Company) released resin engines that were much better than the kit ones, and had the added advantage that they significantly reduced the amount of ballast needed in the nose - might be worthwhile for whoever's got those moulds to dust them off again ...

LN-KEH
Could the set of B-29 engines from Metallic Details be used, or are there visible differences between the engines? http://metdetails.com/catalog/metalic-details/aircraft/172/md7204-detailing-set-aircraft-model-b-29 http://metdetails.com/sites/default/files/imagecache/product_full/images/1_0.jpg Edited February 18, 2023 by LN-KEH

ElectroSoldier
I think the cost of it will give you a nose bleed if their SH-60 release was anything to go by.

Meatbox8
What a beauty. Too big for my storage facilities, sadly. Saving that for Airfix Nimrod, Valiant, Victor, Vulcan, Shackleton, Lancas......... etc etc. I'd dearly like a kit of this aircraft in the BOAC scheme in 144th though.
