Studebaker US6 lend lease truck

Recommended Posts

Been working on an old ICM Studebaker truck. I did this to learn some new skills regarding building weeled vehicles. The kit came from an old stash and it wasn't the best. The plastic had completly dried out so i broke very fast. However, i managed to pull of a decent vignette of a russian driver taking a break.

Enjoy and all comments are more then welcome.

Another great result. The weathering looks really good - it goes with the rest of your build.

And the figure is really well done.

Another one done!  Superb work as usual and the simplicity is very effective. 👌

Hi Maddoxx,

Good start with something with wheels, despite being a guinea pig, the vignette looks very good, and the figure helps a lot with the whole.
I also sometimes think about doing something with rudas and non-tracks, but if I don't thin out the stash...

Cheers

Francis.👍

Nice simple arrangement, and the subtle undulations you’ve built in stop it being flat and boring. Great diorama work and superb figure to match up with a really nice truck. Great work all round.

That's a great looking truck, and the vignette suits it well. How many is that so far this year?

John.

I think i'm on my 4th model.... but still got a few fun projects in mind 😁

Excellent all around! Vehicles must come with a dio - this model tells why.

Very nice Maddox, super work, the paintwork and weathering look great.

I particularly like the dirt track you've created,  looks really effective. 👍
