triumphfan
Recently finished the latest boxing from Airfix. I had built the old Academy Hunter as a GA.11 with the PJ Productions resin conversion. Must say, I was much happier with the Airfix version. I did use the Aerocraft spine insert with the correct vents and added the bump stop under the tail, which Airfix missed off. I was able to rob some spare tanks from another kit (will be T8 conversion) I really didn't like the look of the rocket pods and most photos of the FRADU Hunters show them with tanks fitted. I do like my models to have the 'airfield' look with items such as FOD guards, wheel chocks, etc. The FOD guards on the Hunter are simple scratch built items with attachments as seen in ref photos. The ladder is a 3D print, chocks are Flightpath. Atb, Steve. 51

ForestFan
Looks excellent, I agree that adding the ancillary bits makes it look more alive. I do wish manufacturers would include intake covers and protective covers….
