  1. Thanks, I'll have a look!
  2. Hi all, I'm tearing my hair out here. I'd like to know who the artist of this specific box art was. It was a kit I had a good 15 years ago or so (roughly that is - memory is poor!) and would love an A4 or A3 print of it possibly. Please can someone point my in the right direction? I don't think it's Roy Cross but I'm happy to be proven wrong but I just can't find any details around it anywhere!!! Thanks!
  3. Thank you! A nice straight answer which I wasn't getting on Facey 😅 I'll either have to re-think my plans with my build or just say "sod it", and just model it with the standard nose. Who's to say it wasn't re-fitted at soke point and just not photographed or even documented very well! 😉🤷🏻‍♂️🤣
  4. This seems to be the most relevant thread to ask on... Does anyone know is XT272 ever flew in RR with the standard nose on? I can't find any definitive information or pictures to confirm this.
  5. Hi all, The HobbyBoss 1:72 U-2A is complete! This was a nice quick, mojo boosting build that has come out a treat. The build itself was simple with little issues. I liked the build so much, I went and purchased the U-2C at a recent model show to put alongside it one day. The kit was finished in The Scale Modellers Supply 'Metallic Super Silver' and clear coated with Alclad Aqua Gloss to keep the shine. The decals went down beautifully with no issues, including the massive wing walk way decals, conforming to all details perfectly. I fully recommend this kit to any skill of modeller of this very unique aircraft. Like the Me-410, if you'd like to see more images, let me know and I can post more in the future. See you all again soon! Long live the U-2!

  7. As a huge Hunter fan, this is gorgeous! Nice finish!
  8. Thank you all! I probably won't post any more photos here, but I will be sharing more over on my Facebook page in the coming days! https://www.facebook.com/jamesbuildsandmore
  9. If you go over to my build log, you'll see the Wellenmuster "Squiggle" camo was actually done with a re-fillable acrylic paint pen! Link here -
