Think so, but it was an awful long time ago! :) I was trying to remember what combines used to look like and then Ollyblogs showed one at a show he was visiting - they were tiny with no cab just a central seat and steering wheel...!!

Keith

It's a bit of a long vid but...

and when Neddy said about dust..

Strewth, that brought back vivid memories.  It was great to see a threshing machine run at full operating speed for a change - normally if you see one at agricultural shows they run it at a fraction of it's speed, either to preserve it or because they have no idea just how loud and fast the thing had to run to separate the grain properly.  You can't mistake that hum but the video doesn't quite convey the sheer volume of sound when you're up close to it.

Not a classic, but I saw this yesterday and thought it rather unusual. some sort of small fiat flat bed.

(Thankfully?) I didnt manage to get a pic of it, but if you remember the purple Lambo I posted a while back, hes now got a Maserati Quattroporte in the same shade. No pinstripes, but the badges etc are in the pinky orange.

Money may override taste, but surely the guys doing the wrap could have had a quiet word and steered things a bit more tastefully.

Harrier

My last RWD Escort was an immaculate white Harrier - can't remember the reason I got rid of it, but whatever it was it was stupid...!!

Love all those Escorts but especially the X-pack....!!

Lovely Escorts but i can't remember the last time i saw a Renault 12.....

I'm quite shocked at seeing a branch of TSB still operating.😉

Lovely bunch of Escorts but I would definitely go for the Healey if I had the money.

When I was 18 I had a Nova, which I quite quickly spun through a hedge, leaving just the front drivers wing poking out. Can think why that memory suddenly came to mind 😅🤣.  Also Just out of curiosity does anyone recognise the the red car behind the Renault?

After all the Cibies on the Escorts , the spotlights on the Harrier , which were genuine Ford items looked tiny !!

There's something about Healey 3000's that I like too .

The Nova is a Swing Ltd edition; the red car had an Abarth badge . Didn't really have a proper look though .

I has an SR then GTE Nova BTW.

The red sports car at Beverly the other night was a 1965 Abarth Simca 2000 GT and won car of the night award . And I never really had a look at it .... Here's a photo one of my mates took of it

Not a recent spot I was clearing some space on the phone and forgot I had taken these before I retired back in April at the Washington Factory where I worked for 33 years they often put some new models and old outside of reception for big visits.

Replicar

We have a yearly car show called “the medford cruise” and this was in attendance, I’ll just go ahead and say it’s a replica right out. Got to love a Ferrari

Presumably a MR2 Mk2 under that curvy body. They seem to be the go-to car for all things Dino-adjacent…

best,

Well that’s the thing @cmatthewbacon it transverse mounted v6 with a Porsche style transmission behind it so I’m not sure, the owner said it had some history, being that it was “one of a few built off of original Ferrari bucks before Ferrari found out and pulled the plug” obviously Ferrari wouldn’t want anyone having fun on the cheap.

Aye, I know that feeling. Even the more wealthier towns around here are emptying of shops.🙁

Gary.

The only guess I got right was that it is Italian. Looks very nice though with a few borrowed design ideas.👍

Have to admit it's a new one on me, but a gorgeous looking car!

Don't think that it's "Dino-adjacent"... Looks like a 412P.

You were right. Simca was a French company, Abarth Italian. The wiki page got a tad confusing with numerous buyouts, takeovers and the like muddying the waters.

Noble sportscars definitely made P4 replicas, in the early 90s, before he went onto bigger and better and a lot more expensive things - Andy
