  1. Where is this Swaffham museum? And my friend Michel described the AH 262 as 'forgettable' so maybe not...
  2. hadn't really occurred to me tbh. The image is small and dark in the book, what you can see is the 'best' I've been able to do with it. The author is proving impossible to contact - even by friends who know him - so I've no further info..
  3. very nice. Always enjoy seeing the models in your Suomen ilmavoimat FAF collection!
  4. Thanks very much for the mention. Reference pics are in one of the Eduard Info magazines, article on Müller.
  5. Yes, indeed. Nice diagrams to indicate what angle they should be posed at compared to the angle of the legs when you can just add them at the end of the build..
  6. .. nice, what are you doing for belts?
  7. good choice. .. reference photos in 'Model Aircraft' June-July 2014 issues
  8. Kennel's a/c...super build/finish..
  9. Very nice indeed! Just finishing mine. Haven't really enjoyed it, far too fiddly and you have to paint/decal before putting most of the parts on.. wish Airfix would identify some of the smaller parts too - what for example are the small 'jaw' like parts that go onto the bottom of the gear legs?
  10. Alistair, great to see a new build from you!
  11. FWIW these images are all available from the Bundesarchiv website in much better quality which might be of help. Just search for the PK photographer LINKE. The assisbiz site just posts the worst copies ever. Bundesarchiv images may be reproduced on non-commercial sites. This image is dated 21 January 1943.
  12. .. check out this enlargement of the Bundesarchiv image. Clicking on it enables you to zoom right in. (Bundesarchiv images may be reproduced on non-commercial sites)
  13. .. that's just the red RVT fuselage band. Most JGs had red bands in the Defence of the Reich... eg JG 53 - but changed to black - JG 1, JG 300/301/302, JG 6. The blue/white/blue bands for JG 300 were introduced at the turn of the year 44-45. A Czech group excavated a JG 300 Fw 190 shot down on 28.12.44 and it had the light blue bands....
