  1. Hoops, DekLs sheets are fine, quality is good, I have used a couple on my P-3 and P-8 builds. He has a printer that prints white as well and I believe all the colour decals have a layer of white under them. The only other option for later Hornet sheets is Ronin Graphics but availability is limited, he only prints restricted runs and at the moment there are limited decals available on his website
  2. No more progress on this, the mojo has died I am off to a big model comp in Melbourne this weekend so hopefully the mojo is restored!.
  3. Pete at Hawkeye is alive and kicking, he does send overseas so that is not the issue. He has been working on some consignment orders to bigger retailers lately. I will PM you for some details and get on to him for you.
  4. Good to see a start, and yes it is OK to start when the calendar clicks over in you locale (I do it all the time with GBs )
  5. Try this sheet, same manufacturer but in 1/48
  6. The scheme your are talking about was on A8-274 which was an F-111G. Going by your username I assume 1/72 scale. But if you are still keen then they are available on Ebay from an Australian Decal seller Novascale.
  7. Four years later! This had been progressed a while ago, well mid 2024 and then returned to the shelf of doom. I tried to drill out all the sonobuoy tubes, which ended up a bit ratty. So they were filled and a new plan hatched which has not yet come to fruition, so I started the paint process at that point. I am now continuing this build over in the Long Range (distance) Maritime Patrol GB.
  8. Looks like a started a build thread back in 2019 for this, so I will carry on with it here with the kind permission of the Mods The original thread I plan to put operational unit markings on it in the end and it will be in a TPS finish since that was what was in vogue at the time it was to become operational. I did get to the paint stage and this is how it looks at the moment. And a size comparison with other P-3 airframes
  9. I see the rules allow aircraft still in the design and prototype stages. I have a KUTA build I'd like to submit of the Lockheed P-7 if that is OK? It is mostly done and just needs a lot of fiddly detail added.
  10. Nice to see a P-3 in the mix Alun Just be aware P-3Bs (P-3Ks) only had a single sonobuoy chute so the majority of the sonobuoy tubes on your model will need to be filled as the kit is a P-3C. Your flight sim graphic is inaccurate in that regard. Here is a picture of the underside of NZ4203 in grey before the K2 mods.
  11. Those seats look nice, are they supplied in the kit or AM?
  12. Both look great Peter, nice work!
