Maxidad
February: Revell 1/72 Ju88 - an ancient and less than impressive kit. March: Mastercraft 1/72 PZL 11c - simple kit, but vague instructions - here in Romanian livery May: Italeri 1/72 Spitfire MkIX - not a great kit, but first attempt at Alclad July: Academy 1/48 P47D - nice kit! July: Azur 1/72 GAL Monospar - for the Spanish Civil War GB - terrible canopy to fit! Otherwise typical short-run. September: Special Hobby 1/72 Lockheed Electra - also for the SCW GB November: Eduard 1/48 P39Q Profipack - lovely kit, great decal selection Maybe one of the kits on the bench will also get finished by year's end. Maxidad
Thanks Tango and Seamus A good years work there, really like the Jug and Airacobra Well I think those are the best two also; then again they were the only two kits which had no real fit issues. In addition you'll note they're in 1/48, whilst the others are 1/72. I know there are tremendous 1/72 modellers on BM, who can make that scale seem really realistic - I have never found that knack. Easier for me to finesse in 1/48. Edited December 17, 2009 by Maxidad
Alan P
Looks like you certainly got to grips with the Alclad! Nice work there. Al
