Spookytooth
Hi all, the wife said to me when she finished her Spitfire that she would like to build a bi-plane. So I said, how about the new tooled Tiger Moths by Airfix. OK she said. Here we go then. So , we sat down and done building and painting. BTW Lady Biggles is building the military version. And now the pair as they sit/stand at the moment. That about all for now, hope to get some more done soonish. Simon and Lady Rose(Biggles).

BerndM
Excellent start, Simon both cockpits with the pilots inclusive look pretty good. My compliments to Lady Rose, she is really a great modeller ( got someone new to to the hobby sitting next to me, making little Gnats quite yellow)
Spookytooth
Thank you all for the replies, and NO, we did not start them on Valentines day LOL. They were started a little while ago but there was not a great deal to show. There still isn`t a great deal though hopefully we can button up the fuselage and fettle that into submission. Tomorrow we will probably get the lower wings drilled ready to fix to the fuselage. Thats all for now folks. Simon and Rose (who has now got a look of the cat that has got the cream)

Both fuselages together now, a bit of fettering to do before fitting the lower wing and tail feathers. Mine Ours. That is all for now. While those set, we will attempt to drill the rigging holes in the wings Simon and Rose.
Max Headroom
This is great. My missus dismisses my 'silly little bits of plastic!'. I agree about the cross stitch though....... Trevor

Spookytooth
Hello folks. Well here is a bit more to add. First of all the lower wings drilled, ready for fitting. The good lady Rose was busy, the first time she has drilled free hand instead of the pre marked holes. Next the fuselage holes.... WelI did mine first, and as you can see, I have some holes to fill Her Ladyship on the other hand.... Enough said... So the next thing to do will be fix the wings on, but not before I fill the extra holes. Airfix, please next time put the full rigging plans, including the hole plans. Catch up soon. Simon and a smug Rose.

Tarheellaw
I always thought women would be great at model building and painting. Truth is , my daughters have more interest in my hobby than my son.

Rickpadwick1801
They look great, keep up the good work both of you. I can never get my wife interested in my hobby, the only time she showed any interest at all was when she painted my Vulcan's green camouflage sections for me. Albeback52
Glad to see your good lady joining in the fun. My own partner (bless her!) has decided (at the tender age of 46) that she would like to take up modelling under my gentle tuition. Her very first model - the new Airfix Hurricane I Allan
