Rabbit Leader Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 That is the best TSR I've ever seen. Probably looks even better than the real one at Duxford. Cheers.. Dave
martin77 Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 totally awesome. What a model and one of my favourite aircraft too.
fu_manchu Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Hmm, i saw a link to this the other day. Stunning. You have really done a great job on this, specially adding some life into what could have been a 'dull' all white scheme, very well accomplished. Ian
andrewfl290 Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Fantastic, superb , awesome, wow. I'm speechless.
Screech Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Oh My Go........, That is utterly amazing! I can see why it took you a year to build. Is it all out of the box or did you use any aftermarket?
bunnylurve Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Not a fan of the TSR-2 but that's a killer!
IainA Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 This really does set the bar. I keep going back and looking at the work you've done on the underside, it really is quite exceptional. Very nice Seversky
gazza l Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Very nice, love the weathering... just right.
nick Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Stunning. Very crisp, very subtle, the nicest TSR2 I've seen, great debut to the site. Nick

goose Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Without doubt the best TSR.2 model I've seen to date totaly agree with this statement, fantastic work, did you pre shade, or use another idea, loving this also welcome aboard
Seversky Posted November 1, 2012 Author Posted November 1, 2012 Whre did you get the shrinking machine and why hasn't the RAF Museum reported XR220 stolen yet? Good joke! Thank you! Just when I think my builds are getting acceptable someone pops one like this in here and I think, apart from flippin marvelous, I must try a little bit harder. How do you get everything together on the small details without getting lumps of glue everywhere I used super glue and capillary pipettes Model building here:http://scalemodels.ru/modules/forum/viewtopic.php?t=34706
IXGR1 Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Ok, i have no words..... Just...PERFECT!!! (-you beat me to it) ............ nothing short of perfect.
Seversky Posted November 1, 2012 Author Posted November 1, 2012 Is it all out of the box or did you use any aftermarket? All out of the box only! None aftermarket suffered in times of building!
Seversky Posted November 1, 2012 Author Posted November 1, 2012 did you pre shade Yes, I did pre shade technology. 1
Seversky Posted November 1, 2012 Author Posted November 1, 2012 (edited) Looks like the real thing....awesome. Thank you! But it is a merit of Airfix. I just collected a model. Edited November 1, 2012 by Seversky
Screech Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 All out of the box only! None aftermarket suffered in times of building! Amazing quality build - my hat is off to you for efforts!
goose Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Cheers, what colour did you use for pre shading? and whts the purple looking stuff, whats that for, i ask as have this in 72 scale.
Matcham11 Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 This is really, really REALLY GOOD!!!! Well done my man! Robin
Seversky Posted November 1, 2012 Author Posted November 1, 2012 Cheers, what colour did you use for pre shading? and whts the purple looking stuff, whats that for, i ask as have this in 72 scale. I did use 85% Light Grey + 15% Olive Drab colours for pre shading. Base color - off white. I think that for 72 scale colours must be similar.
sean Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Superb modelling, one of the best builds I've seen, quality , Sean
