Make your mind up. It's either missiles or stretcher pods, not both.

What rear door options?

I can feel the heat from the hole being burnt in my wallet already.

Imagine being evacuated in a stretcher and helicopter fires a missile!

Nobody liked the stretchers.  It was very unpleasant to be enclosed like that.  Imagine waking up in flight and not know what was going on. No intercom, no view through the tiny window.

Scouts on casevac would usually have the four-place rear seat dropped to the floor for the cassualty and the left front seat turned to face aft for the medic..  The big bulge doors went with the four-place seat.

Missile-armed scouts had a streamlined top to the front of the skid with a bit of 'clothesline' going to the fuselage to stop missile guide wires from getting tangled in the skids.

And that's about all this ex-Scout crew chief can remember.

Just noted that excellent air-graphics decal sheet for scout/wasp disappeared from big H. Hope they will reprint it!!!

Excellent news. Hopefully they'll follow up with a Wasp.

Edit. Oops. They are. Top notch.

Are there any pictures of one over New York City for the 3rd option?

Couple of quibbles with the kit's blurb.  660 sqn RAF?  AAC I think. ETPS should be Boscombe Down, not Wallop. Army rotary wing should be Advanced Rotary Wing, that was the Scout conversion course. Can anyone read the serial on that one?  I think I worked on it.

Are the sight and missiles coming in another boxing?  I'll need one of them too.  Good effort by LF.

So its coming as a combined Scout/Wasp moulding, which is nice, as I was having to consider buying a Wasp kit just for the floatation kit that was fitted to some Hong Kong Scouts.

I can see the missile support beams on the frames (Pt No 39) but no missiles, so presumably, yes.

I think it is used on option 4 as a rack for evacuation crates (not sure what is the right English term for these). Is it the same rack? Anyway there are no missile pylons...

I work at the Army Flying Museum where we have a Scout fitted with missiles, so I know what the pylons look like. As for the stretcher pods they just clamped to the undercarriage horizontal members.

Thank you. I see. I agree part 39 is a missile rack. Still looks like no missile pylons... Good news - resin missiles are available from LF.

Very nice!

However I am afraid that the small old helicopters became an very attractive niche for LF and they drop the former idea of finish the series of all Fokker CV variants, in particular I was corresponding some years ago with owner and he told that both Hungarian Manfred Weiss Budapest and Solyom as well as a Swiss mutation will be released... I think it is now postpone forever... They are available as resin kits  by Kora, but the LF had much better quality and the plastic is much nice to work with...

Out of this niche I will welcome Sikorski R6! :)
