  1. Fantastic work Stew I've just added this kit to my ever growing WNW stash.
  2. I'm building the very same kit at the moment although I gone for the 'Nine O Nine' version, I'm at exactly the same point having just fitted my undercarriage and have experienced the very same issues as you. My kit has been plagued with fit issues, it's my first Revell kit since returning to the hobby just over 3 years ago, I can now see why as a kid I avoided Revell, they haven't improved much well not with this kit. Although I think I'll get a fairly decent result but I wont be building another Revell kit, I'll post up mine once finished. You've done a cracking job mate and you're almost there
  3. Going to watch this with interest I've got the Tamiya 1/32 kit will be interesting to see how they compare. Resin and PE can be really enhancing, but IMHO you have to be very selective as in many cases you can't see it when the model is completed and as you pointed out it costs a small fortune often can be twice as much as the kit it's self. I personally don't go for Big Ed anymore especially in 1/72 it really can be just money down the drain as you just can't see a very high proportion of it.
  4. Awesome work Quite why these Schneider Trophy aircraft aren't offered by mainstream kit manufactures is beyond me, these were cutting edge and gave rise to technology that went on to be used in now classic fighters of WW2. The competition it's self was as popular as F1 is today a part of what I think is the golden age of aviation.
  5. Fabulous pictures, great to see the Phantoms in action 😎thanks for sharing
  6. I'll be following with interest some fabulous work so far
  7. Got this in my stash, if I can get mine half as good as yours I'd be a happy man, good build mate
