HL-10 Posted August 23, 2020 Posted August 23, 2020 I have just taken delivery of a 3' model of Skydiver from Gerry Anderson's UFO. It is made of resin & fibreglass. It has come with a pair of water jets fitted so with some radio control gubbins added it will be patrolling my local boating lake in case of an alien attack. Stay tuned! Angelo 16

Vile Traveller Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 Just re-watched the entire series earlier this year, will be following this thread with interest! 1
HL-10 Posted September 1, 2020 Author Posted September 1, 2020 I have been cutting holes in SkyDiver, (hopefully she'll still float!) There was quite a large plug of resin to get through to open up the conning tower. 6
HL-10 Posted September 8, 2020 Author Posted September 8, 2020 More holes! Adding other details as I go along Thanks for looking, Angelo. 7
HL-10 Posted September 11, 2020 Author Posted September 11, 2020 Well underway now! Sky 1 is virtually complete. Might get a primer coat on by the weekend 8
Hunter Rose Posted September 14, 2020 Posted September 14, 2020 Really great work on this, nice job with the detailing and it even gets a bath! 1
Pete in Lincs Posted September 14, 2020 Posted September 14, 2020 Wow! I was asked if I was going to float the kreiger floatplane I just built. I wasn't falling for that one. So I admire your confidence by giving your build a bath. It looks great, and huge too. So, what is the assembled length and what does it scale out at?

HL-10 Posted October 2, 2020 Author Posted October 2, 2020 Gold colour applied. Next stage, detail painting. 11
The Tomohawk Kid Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 (edited) How cooler than sub-zero can you get? The entire series is currently on Britbox along with a whole slew off other ITC programmes, if anyone is interested. Tommo. Edited October 8, 2020 by The Tomohawk Kid 1
Pete in Lincs Posted October 11, 2020 Posted October 11, 2020 I kept meaning to come back to this one and finally succeeded tonight. It's come on since the primer and is looking really impressive. 1
Planebuilder62 Posted October 15, 2020 Posted October 15, 2020 Fantastic building, what imagination they had making TV series like that when I was growing up. regards Toby 1
