Pete in Lincs
On Tuesday I spotted a mark 2 Ford Escort 4 door. Sandy brown colour in Beeston Nottingham. This morning it was a Light aircraft grey MGC GT going North on the A15 by Waddington.
The Cameraman
Hi Guys n Gals, whilst riding to work yesterday morning, I passed a lovely white, 1976, Ford Granada. I remember them as being a massive car but it shows just how much larger cars have become! Regards Reggie

Schwarz-Brot
An Audi TT with the front wheels standing about half a meter up on a wall. Mowed the trees behind that wall and was probably stopped by them. Seems like the driver went away without injuries. However he managed to get there in city traffic - my respect for being so dumb. Alan R
Spotted in and around Stratford-upon-Avon yesterday: A Beautiful mid-sixties E-type coupé and A mint Triumph TR6 (In mustard, not the best colour for this car...), still looks gorgeous. Cheers, Alan.

Whofan
Driving through Kidderminster this afternoon, a very well maintained and spotless Austin A35 in black and cream.
Whofan
This isn't strictly a spot of the day, more a spot from June 2006, but it took me a while to find out what it is, including emailing the picture to Autocar and asking them! I'm sure it won't take as long for someone here to identify it. The photo was taken in Cyprus.

Pete in Lincs
Looks like a Citroen Nightmare Mk2. But is probably something Japanese. Yesterday in Huddersfield, a nice Wolesely 1500 or Riley 1.5 in grey over maroon in a driveway. Today passing through Horncastle I saw a very nice Gold sunbeam Alpine, with the roof down!

Pete in Lincs
I always understood that underneath it was pretty much a Morris 1000. Still, better looking and with a few more creature comforts inside. A friend had one in the seventies with wide wheels, it went well.

On the way home this evening on the M25 I spotted a maroon Jensen C-V8, and what excited me even more, a Renault Fuego! Say no more. As I mentioned, I ended up emailing the picture to Autocar and they told me. There were very few of these made apparently, and to see one outside Japan was very rare indeed, according to the chap at Autocar. I saw another one not 400 yards from my home a year or so later! I have to say the Fuego was a striking shape, but whether it would excite me .... I'm not sure
Pete in Lincs
This morning in Brigg, a Fiat Fullback. A what? I hear you ask, it's a pick up. In fact, what it is, is a badge engineered Nissan Navara. Which begs the question, why? Anyway, this one was a 66 reg, but already suffering from Italian electrics because the indicator didn't work. Mind you the driver seemed to be more interested in conversing with the passenger than actually driving. Early this afternoon heading North of Lincoln on the A15 was an L reg Citroen DS. Always liked them.
Bordfunker
Again on the M25, I spend too much time on the M25, a mustard yellow Rover P6 on the back of a recovery truck. It looked a little tired, but complete. Almost forgot, a very nice Ford Capri Mk1 in absolutely mint condition on the A30 yesterday. Pete in Lincs
Yesterday, in a yard just outside Wainfleet, a blue mark 1 Transit LWB in what looked like very nice condition as we drove past. Today, Southbound on the A15 North of Lincoln, I glimpsed a black droopsnoot Mk 2 Escort.

And as for why, well it's built on the same production line but is a lot cheaper! Edited March 18, 2017 by The Cameraman

Pete in Lincs
I've seen a few Rialto's about and even a Kitten in the last couple of months. Quote I was under the impression it's a re-badged Mitsubishi L200? Ah, it could be, I was going by the shape of the rear doors more than anything. And yes, a cheaper price would do it.
