Andrew Jones
Some of the so called Mini's dwarf everything, one passed us on the M5 a while back , we were in the wife's Passat and you were looking up at the Mini . Andrew

Indeed they do, but the cars they make in China are for the far east market. UK ones are made in Sweden and Belgium. Mine has Made in Gothenburg on the chassis plate. Neil
Several weeks ago now, spotted while shopping in Gorleston, near Gt Yarmouth. Saw this Lamborghini Murcielago being driven into a pub, so turned round and parked my Mercedes next to it and had a bit of an interesting chat with the owner. Don't see many cars like this in Gorleston. The rear shot of it with my Merc parked next to it really shows how low the Lambo is compared to a normal road car, shows how wide it is too. Bonhoff
Had a couple of SOTD's over the last couple of days. Saw an Austin Maxi in a village close to home and then I was sat at home waiting for someone to collect some alloy wheels (Moving my rally car/restoration project closer to home and quite frankly I have no need for 30+ wheels these days so I'm giving a lot of them away) Chap was driving up from Worthing up to my home near Loughborough and I was expecting him to come up in a Merc Estate. Was extremely surprised to see him pull up in a Skoda Estelle with a box trailer on the back! Only ever see them these days at the owners club shows. He then left me to go to Bridgenorth to collect more stuff then back to Worthing via Poole. That's quite a trek in any car, let alone a much derided communist era vehicle... Graeme
A variety of cars seen today at Bicester Scramble car show (my car is the black/white Abarth): Studebaker: Violin case on the back seat of the Studebaker!!! BRM or Vanguard? Alvis: Unsure what it is, didn't make a note Again not sure what it is, but certainly my favourite car today: Edsel Villager: McLaren: Aston Martin: Beautiful Ferrari: Another pair of Alvises (Alvisi?) Austin: Abarth 595 original (note the size comparison to the Fiat 500L next to it) There is a thriving cottage industry for classic car restoration in many of the buildings on the airfield - one of the hangars is full of classic cars under wraps, although from, the body shape and rear wing it was clear that at least two of them were Ferriai F40's. Their next show is called "Flywheel", featuring planes as well as cars, to be held mid-June G Edited January 8, 2017 by Graeme

Black Knight
All very nice. The big blue un is a 1959 Cadillac Coupe DeVille or Eldorado The Alvis has a Bunny on the radiator; each year the Bunny had a different pose so the year model can be guessed from that.
roymattblack
Lime green/black Ferarri la Ferarri... Sunday, coming out of the Colchester slip road onto the A12 heading toward London. Fastcat
Graeme, The "BRM or Vanguard" sic(Vanwall). is an Aston Martin DBR 4, Astons' foray into GP cars. Not a success but a great looking car and a lovely paint scheme. Dave

Pete in Lincs
In Newark this morning on the back of a flatbed recovery truck, an old Morris Oxford, the one that looks like an overscale Morris thousand, in black. This one looks like it had been sitting in a back garden since 1962. Large bits of it were green with algae.
