Thanks for the links; however, in the last one I cannot get any subject to open when i select them. Can you advise? I am interested to read about the Bedfords, BV's and Stalwart. cheers, Mike

You could make your own number plates with this 1:35 scale Modern British Army Number Plates decal set from PHD Design. I have a set and have used some on @PeteH1969 Land Rover kits. cheers, Mike

The Mig-29 parts are downloadable files which you would need to print yourself on a 3D printer. cheers, Mike

DaveCov's Airfix 1/8 BMW R-75/5 (20481-9)

That is a lovely build and presentation Dave. I just wish they would do some British bikes in that scale. cheers, Mike -
Isn't that a case of actors, and directors and possibly even studios, being made redundant by AI? Mike

You are obviously NOT dropping it. Those are political subjects, even here, so wind it back, and just talk about modelling! Mike

We already have members on here who are from China, one live is Beijing and is a friend of mine. He has no trouble conversing on here or via emails. We have traded models and books with no issues. I visited Beijing on holidays a few times and I've had no problems with Wifi, emails etc., back to UK. I've also bought kit in their model shops and shipped them home with no hassle. Cheers, Mike

CH-47A Chinook to CH-47C or D, can it be done?
bootneck replied to bootneck's topic in Aircraft Modern
Thanks Lin, every little helps. cheers, Mike -
I plan to do a large diorama which will hopefully include a 1:35 scale Chinook but I am on a limited budget. CH-47A Chinook kits appear to be going for quite a bit less than Cs or Ds and I am wondering whether I can upgrade an A to one of the other versions? I am quite accomplished at scratchbuilding and recently have dabbled in CAD and 3D printing so I'm not averse to some hacking and slashing. My concern is whether the CH-47A might be a complete no-no, perhaps due to length, width or other major constraint. Has anyone any knowledge of whether a conversion would be possible, has anyone attempted it already? cheers Mike

Gecko Models Land Rover Series 1 Questions: Tyres and colour
bootneck replied to SimonL's topic in AFV Cold War
Check with @viper-30 as he has produced some very good Land Rover models, so he probably has a good source of references. Mike -

Land Rover ½ ton Lightweight - Red Arrows ground support team. This model is a 3D printed kit consisting of over 50 parts built at 1:24 scale. The only additions to the model are the spare wheel tie-down strap and the orange beacon, both of which I designed and printed. cheers, Mike- 75 replies
