54 had gone to the later spec by 81. I've been progressing my one of these. Few points of note so far: Rear floats / baggage bay scribing incorrect - too long Fin is symetrical - in reality it is aerofoil Tailplanes are same angle - pt trailing edge should be higher than stbd

1:1 scale needed nose weights 😉 ( post FIN1064 anyway )

Good job and one of the best I've seen ( just paint the jettison pipe black - they were rubber 😉 )

Moons ago the RAF deployed me to Turkey for 4 months. I had the same thought - couldn't really 'do' plastics as all my kit would be dangerous air cargo. So I took a wooden boat kit 🙂 I finished 'Le Hussard' and started HMS Unicorn ( got the hull done before I came home and finished it some years later )
